That's a shame about no LTL mayo in jars from Sainsburys @bubbs. Only today I cut through the plastic bottle of Aldi mayo to get the last bit out! 🤣

Well done to your DH for cleaning the carpet. My DH does all our cleaning. 👍

  • Hi guys :)

I joined SW back in April 2023 with the aim of losing a stone for our sons wedding in September. I hit that target and carried on - as you do and planned to go to 8st 12 - but best laid plans and all that, I finally called target at 9 stone 4 in March and here I am , still on target ( yes I go up and down ) 5 months later . Would I like to be 8.12? Yes, but seriously I just cant deny myself enough to get there :)

Still go religiously every week. Its much more of a social thing now, we have such a laugh. Most of us struggling to keep to target - we all seem to know how to lose, just keeping it even keel is the hard bit. So I play with the same 4lb, it creeps on, then creeps off again, sometimes I might even get to bottom of the range, but thats rare

Hopefully now Ive found my way here I will catch up with you all.

Morning all, it's another lovely day down here in the South East although the forecast for further north didn't look very nice with lots of rain.  Have done a machine load of bedding which is now out on the line and nearly dry.  Just need to remake the bed later and put the clean stuff away once it's dried and folded.

Welcome @weekendsaway.  Well done on staying at target for over a year - it doesn't get any easier.  It's normal for your weight to go up and down.  Unfortunately mine is more up than down at the moment!  It sounds as though 8.12 would be too low for you and that you have pitched your target about right at 9.4 if you're occasionally managing to get to bottom end but not staying there.

@bubbs - sorry I forgot to say well done on your loss on Saturday.  Congratulations on being in the running for Woman of the Year again.

@beanielou - you're still a youngster compared to me!  I can give you 10 years, LOL!  The years seem to go quicker and quicker now!

    Today's plan:

    B - kedgeree
    L - tuna salad
D - pasta bolognaise, garlic bread?

    HEA1- milk
    HEA2 - parmasan (part only)
HEB - garlic bread (I may or may not make it - depends if I can find the Schlarr (sp) rolls in the freezer!)
    Syns - salad dressing 0.5; butter 2.5

I've cooked some mini sausage rolls for DH as he's missing having pastry.  He can have some with salad for lunch and the rest can go in a box for snacking for him.

    Have a good day everyone.

Hi lovlies, I haven't left the group just had a mad couple of weeks. The horrible virus lasted a good 2 weeks, which seemed to affect my taste buds, cheese was the worst it made me feel like vomiting! Started to feel better last week, I then went to the festival of quilts at NEC last Thursday, looong day, set off at 7.30 and landed home at 9.30, ate mostly junk! Anyhow I was 9st 11 this morn which is fine considering. I'm off work till Friday then I'll reset now that I'm more keyed up on sw. Hope you are all well x

I hit the jackpot today with lidl boxes Today I was even luckier and I bought 2 as was all stuff I use for a grand total of £3
There was 3 bags of raddish and they would have cost £1.80 on there own!, Bag of new potatoes, bag of Maris piper, pineapple, apple, pears, tomatoes, loads 😁😁

I then popped tesco and they had boxes of walkers crisps 20 pack , the boxes were damaged, picked one up £2.43, picked another up £1.46!! so i went through them all to see if anymore £1.46 but there wasn't 😂 DH will think it's his birthday having walkers crisps 🤣🤣he will say you got them on a bargain 🤣

Went to class today. 1lb on so 1/2 lb over top of target.  Will get off for next week as I refuse to pay!! Also it takes me over into the next stone which just won't do! So a wee loss required for next week. Only this on this week is a lunch with DS before he moves 175 miles away to take up a full time permanent teaching post.  Sob.
