I’m another who can’t have somethings in the house ,
Dark chocolate (85%) kept in the freezer just waves to me ,never mind that you’re only supposed to need one square at a time .
any sort of chocolate really and I only buy strong mature cheddar ,I can make that last ,but I love all the difference makes but daren’t buy them !
a pretty good couple of days. DGS decided he didn’t want lunch ,he’s a bit tense awaiting Alevel results ,but came with me to pick up a heavy new gas fire and easily carried it into the house ,it’s being fitted on Friday .
Im down to 50 syns left but have only got two more days this week ,it certainly seems easier ,much less pressure and if I get near 15 on a day I don’t get panicked
today I had grilled bacon and dri fried eggs and tomatoes and a seeded protein bagel thin as my HEb I love seeded bread but ,of course the seedy bread is not allowed, these are definitely worth it to me.
later I made chicken and veg curry from a jarred sauce I found in the back of a cup .OOD but was fine ,Id written on the label that the jar was 12 syns but I’ve got two big portions in the freezer I’d put a lot of frozen veg ,peppers onions and extra cauliflower with it and rice. then later fruit and yogurt was fine for pud and I’ve just had a BElvita biscuit with a cuppa
I didn’t have breakfast until late ,so only seem to have had two proper meals ,but they were substantial so I’m not hungry .
Thank you for all the help .I’ve felt more positive about it this week than for a long time !0 -
I found the pittas at the bottom of our chest freezer 😳, probably bought in Tesco. Not sure how long I’ve had them though 🙂↔️Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Hi everyone,
@bubbs thanks for the pork pie recipe. I wasn’t sure what pork you used so bought a small tin of Sainsbobs lean ham. Can’t check the syns on that or the small tin of pease pudding as no longer have the app. Do you stand/put it in anything when baking?
Rubbish health news @weekendsaway, don’t blame you ordering chips. Hope you’re feeling brighter today?
My trigger is crisps (big bags that apparently are meant for sharing….) and Cadbury chocolate. I cannot have it in the house as once opened it will all go. It’s like it calls to me from the fridge.

Afternoon all, where has the morning gone? I did get a machine load of washing done and hung out on the line which is now dried, folded and put away (I don't iron unless absolutely necessary!). Also been shopping and managed to get a Lidl box - pretty one too - got hand of bananas, net of easy peelers, couple of kiwis, 6 long red peppers, bag of radishes (chopped and in the compost bin because neither of like them!), big box of strawberries (half dozen very soft so ate them for pud with some yoghurt!); box of chestnut mushrooms; net of lemons and limes; couple of baking potatoes; some smaller potatoes; box of green grapes; punnet of flat peaches (one mouldy round the stalk end so binned); aubergine - think that's the lot! Think I might have to rejig the menu plan a bit to use some of the stuff up! Our evening puds will have a bigger variety of fruit in it too.
Glad things didn't materialise @bubbs and @maman. I know our police are on standby too as there have been threats of protests around the county but don't think anything has happened - if it has it hasn't been on the local news.
I think I must be quite lucky in that I don't have things which "call" to me so can keep whatever I want in the cupboards. I've got a bar of dark chocolate in the fridge which has been there since before our last holiday in April! Crisps don't bother me at all but DH can't leave them alone when he buys a multipack - same with biscuits! I'm not keen on crisps and will very occasionally have one or two when DH opens a packet but can't remember the last time I ate a bag of crisps.
I buy the multipacks of Biscoffs as they come in packs of 2 so if I fancy a biscuit then I know that I'll only eat the 2 and no more. DH eats them as well but because they are "plain" he also tends to only eat 2 biscuits rather than a whole packet - so it's a win:win situation!
Today's plan:
B - breakfast hash
L - BLT
D - fish pasta bake, more air fried courgettes!
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
Syns - LTL mayo 0.5; cheese sauce mix 4
Have a good day everyone.
Edit: PS. Just had an update from the local newspaper that there were some protests and 3 arrested last night.

Good news @Coxy11, both the ham and the pease pudding are syn free! 😁
I did get out with my walking group this morning but it's damp and miserable here so definitely no washing @joedenise. Excellent Lidl box, glad there's so much healthy food in there. 👍
Pleased you're getting on well with the syn bank @Suffolksue, hope it shows on the scales. 🤞
I'm still undecided on dinner tonight. I've got some veg to use up. I'll probably do a hash and have the veg on the side. I'm finding veg, especially broccoli, isn't keeping so well lately.
Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, bacon, egg (P), baked beans (F), HEA1 milk for drinks
L- JP (F), Bolognese (P, S), leaves and pickles (S)
D- Austrian ham hash (P, F, S, HEA 2 cheese topping ), cauliflower, broccoli, asparagus (S)
Syns - 00 -
Afternoon all 😁
No Coxy, just on a frylighted baking tray.
Hope the poorlies are feeling better, i certainly feel better today than yesterday, Caffine has done the trick!
Weekendsaway have you been on this thread before ? Just being in Ireland, the bread and cafe reminds me of someone else 😁
Yes nothing kicked off there were 200 odd there but was peaceful 👏👏
We keep having that very fine rain, but washing almost dry, it started after i put it out so just left it, it's quite windy though!
Denise, that was a very good box 😁 I have not been again as still got quite a bit left and i know if i go and there is some there i'd buy one 🤣
I have loads of things that call me..........they say here piggy come and eat me 🤣 but USUSALLY i am ok as long as they are not opened, but there is alot of chocolate kicking about but i have put in the fridge in the shed so i have to go there to get it.
DH had a meeting about his work pension yesterday, he was really surprised how much he will get as its a final salary pension ,so he said i have definitely made the right decision, i said do you have to wait till your 67 though? he said no November will be my first pension 😂Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -
I haven't got any Maman now they are not free on the app anymore 🤣🤣

Tea was booootifull, i also had half hex cheese in with the chicken
