Congratulate me, I took up sports for the first time yesterday. It was very hard, but I'm glad that I started

Morning all, another beautiful day. It's forecast to get to about 25 or 26 today. Two machine loads of washing done and on the line - just one more to do plus some bedding but they can wait until tomorrow when I can get both loads on the line again.
Well done @AngelHess on taking up sport. What have you taken up?
Today's plan:
B - fry up
L - burger, onions, gherkins, soft pitta
D - roast pork dinner
HEA - milk
HEB - soft pitta
Syns - LF sausages 2; LF burger 0.5; not sure what else.
Ended the day yesterday on 13.5 after having a couple of Biscoff biscuits in the evening with a cuppa.
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Well done on your loss @Suffolksue. 2lbs is great! 👏👏👏 Pleased to see the syn bank is working for you. 👍
It's always a bit of a mystery why you ever have a gain @bubbs. 🤔
The woman of the year at your group was a well deserved winner. I lost 3.5 stone in 10 months which is probably about 40 WIs so her pace is amazing.
Any exercise is good @Angelhess. Perhaps it's the Olympics that's motivated you. Are you hoping to lose weight as well? 🤔
Glorious day here too @joedenise. I'm not doing anything special but it just makes me feel good. ❤️🌞
I'm going to batch cook more keema curry today and swede and carrot mash for the freezer.
Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
L- JP (F), prawns (P), salad (S)
D- roast chicken dinner (P, S, F)
Syns - LTL mayo 1, HM gravy 4, weekend wine 🍷

It's easy @bubbs! You just eat it the same way as you would on a cold day, LOL!!! Seriously though DH likes a roast on Sunday and it makes it easy for additional meals during the week or for the freezer. I'm doing the pork and potatoes in the air fryer so it doesn't heat up the bungalow as much as putting the oven on. Then it'll just be veg on the hob and then make gravy for DH with the cooking water and gravy granules (I don't have gravy!)

Senior moment (insult to seniors sorry). Made a delish quiche in air oven, went to get it out when finished only to find I hadn’t put any eggs in 😳 so just a potato base, roasted onions, chicken, tomatoes & cheese! What am I like 😤🤣Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

We both love a roast on a Sunday @bubbs regardless of the weather. It's a treat as when I was working I rarely had the time. We'll eat about 7.30pm and it's cool in the dining room as it's on the north side of the house. I cooked the chicken earlier so just the veg and gravy to do. 😋0
