Weight loss and healthy eating for a debt free life

So after 3+ years of cogitation I took the plunge to get my brows microbladed on Monday (booked 3 months ago to psyche myself up). Hadn’t realised I couldn’t do exercise or anything sweaty for at least 2 weeks afterwards so that’s scuppered my diet somewhat.
Managed to drop a pound so on track sort of.

I'm paying for a gym membership I don't use but am locked in for another 10 months. I used it alot when first got it then hurt my back so had to stop going and now in the hot weather getting in and out of gym clothes is last thing I want to do. Putting a sports bra on is a mission without being hot and sweaty before you've even exercised 🤣🤣
I need to stop making excuses as I feel better and it helps my shoulder pain when I build muscle. Can someone give me a kick up the butt please?"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". My flipping scales! I had a pretty good day yesterday, and have apparently lost 4lb. If only!
Does anyone have any good ones they recommend? Something that doesn't vary wildly each day. I can cope with a lb or so, but not several!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -

Back from holiday. Weighed this morning and 2 lbs on which im taking as a win on an AI holiday lol. Even had Maccies for dinner last night as no food nor inclination to shop / cook when we got home. Didn't go up the next stone racket and that'll be gone soon....

I've got rephno they are about £30 on amazon and do same as the more expensive ones and can link to fitbit and nutracheck. I always stand on them on same tile in my bathroom. Remember you are supposed to keep scales standing up right when not in use.

Well done on a relatively small holiday gain! They look good and not expensive thank you. I haven't got any way of marking the floor where they are, though have been trying to put them in roughly the same place. Do you mean leave them on their end rather than laying flat on the floor? I've never heard of that before. I've always stored them on the end, and wondered if I'd damaged them by doing that.
Well done on sticking to calories!

I had the Fitbit Aria ones (and various fitbits)but they died when I had to change the batteries after c3 years. The most positive thing was you couldn't kid yourself, it auto uploaded to my fitness pal etc.
I replaced with some £13 digital ones which did 5 years before randomly reading 5kg when empty. I blame the cats who like to jump on them and laugh a lot.
i did eat all of the biscuits. I did spend all night saying 'ouch'. I will not buy anymore. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese
