I got the cheapest Rephno ones from Amazon a while back. They do the job even if I don’t always like what they say 😆😆I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Does anyone have any good ones they recommend? Something that doesn't vary wildly each day. I can cope with a lb or so, but not several!Mortgage_Minimiser said:jwil said:My flipping scales! I had a pretty good day yesterday, and have apparently lost 4lb. If only!

Back from holiday. Weighed this morning and 2 lbs on which im taking as a win on an AI holiday lol. Even had Maccies for dinner last night as no food nor inclination to shop / cook when we got home. Didn't go up the next stone racket and that'll be gone soon....

Well done on a relatively small holiday gain! Hope you had a nice time.Sarahwithlove said:I've got rephno they are about £30 on amazon and do same as the more expensive ones and can link to fitbit and nutracheck. I always stand on them on same tile in my bathroom. Remember you are supposed to keep scales standing up right when not in use.
I managed a day within calories yesterday wahoo!
They look good and not expensive thank you. I haven't got any way of marking the floor where they are, though have been trying to put them in roughly the same place. Do you mean leave them on their end rather than laying flat on the floor? I've never heard of that before. I've always stored them on the end, and wondered if I'd damaged them by doing that.
Well done on sticking to calories!*Dad loan - £5300 - £7200

I had no idea scales should be propped upright. Mine stay in the same place, flat on the floor…oopsNot all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

How is everyone getting on? I haven't bought any new scales yet, as soon as I see a review that says it gives varying results, I figure there's no point, as I've already got some that do that!
Anyway, on three separate days I have stepped on the scales and got the same weight, so I'm taking that one. It means I've lost 2lb in the last few weeks. Not a lot in the grand scheme of things, but heading in the right direction.
It's back to work for me this week (boo!) and I want to carry on eating well."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3 -
I'm 2lbs down too and very happy with that. I've also tidied so we have access to exercise stuff and did a few walks, only then I tripped over the elderly dog and turned the ankle of doom again. Should be better in a few days.
currently both obsessed with grated carrot salad which is at least diet friendly. (Grated carrot with spring onions and a little parsley in a dijon mustard dressing - keeps for days in a tub and would travel well for packed lunch)My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

That grated carrot salad sounds nice, I might try it. I need to get more adventurous with salads, always stick to the same ones."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -

I've been eating lots of salad which also helps with the energy bill as not using hob or oven much other than to boil eggs or roast veg to put with couscous. I find it hard to keep going with salad once the weather gets colder so end up resorting to more carb heavy meals 🙄2
