The switch offer started on 18th March, so if you applied on the first day your account will be checked on 17th May (as per the T&Cs). They then have up to 30 days to make the payment. So nobody will have had their bonus yet.

Fiftypencedirectdebits cost 50p each per month. I thought about charity ones but I just do a one off donation when I get a switch bonus instead.

Just received 2 x £25 cashback from TopCashBack for opening new Everyday a/cs in March.

Now for a wait to see if we get the switching rewards... Not overly optimistic as we did get about £1,500 in Amazon vouchers when they did that promotion in 2019.

Interesting, so they will track multiple accounts? I did one on TCB and one on Quidco but that means I got a lower amount on the second one

There's nothing in the Topcashback T&Cs to say they don't. Sometimes these offers will say new customers only (which rules out opening a second account), or have some other restriction. But the Santander one doesn't.

I wouldn't try to open lots of accounts though as Santander are likely to suspect you're up to no good and close them all.

I wasnt opening two for myself, one was for me, one for a partner, but I assumed TCB wouldnt track both so opened one using Quidco - but based on clivep's post it looks like TCB will track multiple on the same account
