For me:Account opened 3rd April with switch requested during the opening process. My chosen switch date then started 11th April and completed 19th April.Bonus paid out on 11th June.I'd also had my account go negative into an unauthorised overdraft and had a utility direct debit bounce before the bonus paid out so I was a bit worried I'd messed it up.0

I contacted Santander who confirmed I have met all the criteria and payment to be made by 1 July.1

Santander initiated a £185 cash incentive between 14 & 20 March for accounts being transferred to them under the switching service. They acknowledged my application on 26 March & said they would be in touch with more details once they had looked at my application. They repeated their same email on 18 April, then on 24 April said that my account had been opened & they were going to start the account switching process.
It subsequently transpired that they had accepted the transfer of funds from my previous bank on 11 April. The direct debit & £1500 credit criteria were met
Santander have refused to pay the £185 incentive, although my complaint was upheld by their Complaints Investigator. They state that I could have checked the status of the transfer either online or by phoning the customer service helpline. I now have to pursue the non-payment by complaining to the Financial Ombudsman, which I am in the process of doing.
From my conversation with the Complaints Investigator, I learned that a number of other switching customers have not received the £185 due to the same process - namely an outage in Santander's process. I suggest those similarly impacted complain to the Financial Ombudsman0 -
I've just had a call from the Financial Ombudsman's office, saying that Santander have offered a goodwill payment of £250 !! The bank may have thought it cheaper to refuse to pay out £185 each to transferees, in the hope that many new customers would not pursue it further1

Just to conclude my story, Santander paid me the £250 goodwill payment on 16 October which they have credited as an "Account Adjustment".0
