The terms and conditions don't mention a limit of time for the money being in the account in order for the bonus to count, but then I remembered this post:Jamzar said:info_maniac said:Just wondering if the £1500 to be paid into this new account will need to be from a non-Santander account OR can it be paid from another Santander current account held by me? I remember that recently Nationwide had a requirement that the £1000 to be paid in should come from a non-Nationwide account to be eligible for the switch offer.
And does the £1500 need to stay in the account for 60 days? I am looking to move some of the money out after a week and leave around £100 for Moneybox/Plum DDs. Will this work?
So now I'm not sure what to believe.0 -

The money just has to go into the account, you can remove it straight away.1 -

I think the 17th May (60 days) will be when they check (for eligibilty) the first accounts switched - is that right? and then pay within 30 days of that, so we have a bit of a wait yet I think. I applied on the 20th March.

I think my £1500 was in for a few minutes on its way into the edge saver, going by the T&C's that should be fine. Planning to keep this one for as long as the Saver is competitive, with a couple of utility DDs coming out.0 -
So all agreed/confirmed, no time limit on how long the £1500 needs to be in?
Thanks.0
