Hi fsdss,
Just wanted to reassure you Glenfield hospital is excellent in its field. I work in the NHS and it has a very good reputation locally. I know that the staff will do their best for Rick.

just come across this thread now. the tears are streaming down my face, its only when something like this happens, that as other posters have said, that the stupid things in life we worry/ get mad about dont really matter. i hope rick is better today and my and my DH thoughts are with you and all your family. i cant imagine what you are all going through and i think you are an amazing person to be cooking and looking after the whole family and then coming on here to let us all know how rick is doing.

I have just read your thread from the beginning and have tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat. I'm sure Rick is a strong young man but as you've said it does put things into perspective.
