Basically, it is car insurance (renewal) time. Chase exclude this, hence main reason I got this card (for 12 months only anyway).
Tomorrow is the MSE-declared "sweet spot" for insurance renewal quotes, not that any insurance premium is "sweet" atm as going to be significantly more than last year, for sure.0 -
Mine was eventually produced on 27 June, with cleared transactions up to 26 June.
DD 19 Jul 20240 -
I also asked for mine to be produced between the 26th and the 30th of the month - they changed it to that and it seems to be produced around about the 28th or 29th depending0

If one does not request a particular statement date is it produced 30 days after card activation?0

Only just spotted the £18 cashback deal for the credit card and missed out on it unfortunately.
Hopefully the same/similar offer will be back soon.0 -
Rookie error made by me in my first month using this card. I stopped spending when the balance showed £750 and today the statement is being produced and I can see the balance is now £735.06 which I think means the cashback is £14.94 and not £15 that I was expecting.
After a little head scratching I realised the £3 transaction which did not earn cashback is the monthly fee for the edge card.
Nevermind, next month I will get the balance to £753.0 -
My 2% offer is coming to an end and I'm wondering if its better for me to use my Barclaycard Avios credit card for spending instead. I automatically convert them to nectar points.
The £3 fee doesn't seem to make it worthwhile as I barely meet the £750 spend every month on this.0 -
