Online using your debit card: As an Online Banking customer, you can make Direct Debit payments to your credit card. You can also make one-off payments by logging on to Online Banking, choosing ‘Pay Santander Credit Card’ and entering your debit card details.
You should probably take the fact this hasn't been enabled via the app as a sign they aren't particularly keen on this method of payment, so it may not last long (TSB, HSBC UK, Natwest Group and most recently Virgin Money have removed the option already).

I just received our first monthly statement - £15 cashback awarded - that covers the £3 fee with extra - and the monthly spend was more or less in line with the average of previous months outgoings. We also have the Edge current account - and the cashback for qualifying Direct Debits also covers the £3 monthly fee there.Nice one Santander.0

My card was activated and first used on the 6th of April - the first £3 fee was also taken that day.The first lot of cashback was paid May 1st and the next fee taken May 6th (a bank holiday).I wonder if cashback is always paid on a calendar month basis, but fee is related to anniversary.0
