For additional info, in case useful to others; rec'd RBS bonus last year and previous NatWest bonus in 20182 -
After success with NatWest I've just opened RBS (on about the 100th attempt of getting the application screen to actually load!)
All went through no problems just waiting for the HooYo checks to complete but one weird thing is although it asked for the details of the account I wanted to switch from it didn't ask for a date I wanted the switch to take place unlike NatWest, will it ask me after the ID checks complete? (I'm not really bothered either way as I'm just using a throwaway Chase secondary account)

I've just submitted my application with NatWest and the HooYu checks have passed. I am now awaiting "account activation".
I was also not asked for a switch date when I gave my Chase account details. Natwest/RBS/Ulster were updating account opening web application yesterday night when I checked, so looks like there has been an update across the board and choosing the switch date option has now been removed.

Not sure if this has been asked here before, I just looked at the Ts&Cs on RBS and Ulster and I see this:
If you've previously received a switcher incentive from NatWest Group since 01 January 2020, you will not be eligible for this offer. Offer can be withdrawn or amended at any time. Account eligibility criteria apply.
Was this clause there previously?
I noticed that all 3 banks were updating their websites yesterday night (around midnight) so not sure if this clause has been added recently.0 -

Can I please get some pointers about these please:
1. Should I go ahead and submit applications for RBS and Ulster as well now while the Natwest account is still not active? The latest email received from NatWest has the subject "We're getting your account ready".
2. Have people given same contact details (email and phone) on all three applications OR should I give different details for each?
3. Not sure if I will have to go through the HooYu process again for the RBS and Ulster applications, I have already been through that for NatWest?
thanks in advance !!0 -

Ulster bonus has just landed, after getting the RBS bonus on Friday, after getting the NatWest bonus in September/October last year.I paid in the £1250 on Saturday morning and have left it in there
NatWest application submitted at the weekend and due to complete on 13th March, fingers crossed on the triple crown 👑 👑👑2 -
Bummer
I submitted Natwest application today morning and the account activation is pending.
Applied for RBS select account today afternoon and even though the HooYu checks passed, I've just had this email from RBS:Your account has not been openedWhen you apply for a SELECT account we need to carry out a few checks. Unfortunately, having made those checks we are unable to proceed with opening your account at this stage.
Not sure what I did wrong here. The only thing different I did was to use a different email address for RBS application, used the same mobile number though.
I have not applied for Ulster yet, will probably give it a day or two now0
