I've opened accounts with all 3 on Feb 15th, but none of them so far have mentioned anything about the switch, I filled out all details including debit card number during the application.1

Sorry if this has been answered before. I applied to both Natwest and RBS at the same time and requested a current account switch while applying. For RBS I got a message that they couldnt switch me, perhaps a typo in the account number or something? Now the RBS account is open but if I want to arrange another switch from my old bank it needs the RBS debit card number, but I haven't received the debit card yet.Assuming I get the debit card next week, would I still be able to get the RBS £200 switch bonus? Because in the meantime, the NatWest switch might be complete already and so I'm wondering if that means I'll miss out on the RBS bonus?0

I think I've been here before with Ulster bank although a few years ago.
They want Id checks,of all the banks accounts opened and switched this is the only stumbling block I've encountered. We want your photo id, passport, driving licence or id card. I don't have any of those, so proceeding is futile.
If I remember correctly NatWest didn't require this much hassle, is that still the case?
I know they are protecting themselves against fraud etc it all seems as my wife suggests to be discrimination against people who don't drive or travel the world, mild rant over😁0 -
So, my triple switch is on... Now had confirmation from the switching banks that the switches are progressing...
Is the best option to wait until all 3 switches have completed BEFORE transferring the required £1250?
Then simultaneously transfer the £1250 into each account around the same time on the same day, in order to increase the chances of getting 3 x £200?0 -
I’d say wait till you get your debit card PIN number online banking sorted & switch completed before transferring the money0

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
