NatWest/RBS/Ulster £200 Switching Offer 15/2/2024-2/4/2024

In the past that has been possible (even though the T&Cs say only one payment across the group). It hasn't been confirmed for this offer we will find out when people start receiving the incentive.GTR_King said:

Ooh thanks for that,
will wait and see what happens0 -
I feel conflicted about whether to attempt this or not (at the very least for two of them): I have initiated a switch from Metro to Nat West (my new account now open, just waiting to hear confirmation that the switch is in progress). I am tempted to also switch to RBS from Cooperative Bank on the basis that:masonic said:

'You won’t be eligible to earn £200 if you’ve taken advantage of a cash switcher offer from NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland plc or Ulster Bank since 1 January 2020.' ... I have not taken advantage of any of those cash switcher offers previously.
My only concern is that given I have initiated the Nat West switch now, if I now also switch to RBS it might be that I receive the Nat West payment in the 48 hours prior to the RBS one appearing (so then I would technically have received a cash switcher offer with Nat West since 1 January 2020, possibly invalidating the RBS offer).
As things stand, I have not ever received any of the above offers so can't help but wonder if that makes me eligible?

You won’t receive the payment until after you’ve completed all the other requirements like the paying in. So could perhaps wait and make sure you complete the requirements on the same day for both accounts once both switches have completed?Dominic_Blake1 said:

Family member opened second Chase to switch. They kept the debit card linked to their first Chase account but when filling in the switch form today they selected that they did have a debit card and put in the debit card number for their first account that they’re not switching.
Any view on best way to resolve this? I’m thinking it will probably mean the switch just fails rather than it affecting his first Chase account too? I think the switch might not start till Tuesday so my thought is for him to call tomorrow and either get them to cancel switch and then he can re apply and select that has no debit card for the account being switched. Or see if they can amend his switch submission to remove the debit card number (as long as this doesn’t invalidate the requirement to switch online / via app).0 -
UPDATE: I have just initiated the switch from Coop to RSB (following my switch to Nat West at the end of last week). I see no technical reason according to their terms why I am ineligible to receive both offers, having never received either in the past. Having said that, I am not convinced it will actually work! If it does, I will be forfeiting the remaining £50 I would have received from the Coop offer in favour of £200 from RBS, so in effect it will end up being £100 from coop which I just received, £200 from Nat West and £200 from RBS: £500 in the space of around 3-4 weeks!! Assuming it works hahaDominic_Blake1 said:

That's an excellent idea! I'll do exactly that and keep you updated. I figure that the worst case scenario is that I only receive one of the bonuses, take a slight hit to my credit rating but then have another burner account set up... But if I'm lucky I'll end up having generated £500 in the space of a month through Coop, Nat West and RBS!tg99 said:

Are you opening Select accounts with both? In same position as yourself.Dominic_Blake1 said:

Opened Natwest today with an old santander account, now thinking of risking opening the RBS with my Coop.0 -
I've tried the Select with both (Nat West/RBS), couple of days apart but I'll pay the £1250 into each on the same day and see what happens.sazandy25 said:

I’m opening Ulster in next day or two so will complete a few days after Natwest and rbs ones that have already submitted so going to do the pay ins at same time for all three when all switches completed.Dominic_Blake1 said:
