NatWest/RBS/Ulster £200 Switching Offer 15/2/2024-2/4/2024

I might give it a go, had an incentive from Natwest in June 2020 that I'm currently my main account.danny13579 said:If you didn't receive an incentive from RBS since 2020 then I would say your chances are quite high of getting one from NatWest. Yes, the rules say only one incentive from the NatWest group since 2020 but unless things have changed in the past year (which I doubt), all three seem to act independently from each other and many of us have received incentives from all three.
So thinking of switch a Lloyds account to either Ulster or RBS, is ther any real different between those two?

Has anyone tried opening a Monzo account and switching it away more than once? Not sure if Monzo is one of those that doesn’t let you open another once you’ve switched away previously?0

Not really. I ditched the Ulster account as soon as I got the bonus but kept the NatWest and am still using it. I think it's because NatWest offered the Reward account, I don't remember Ulster offering it. Other than that Ulster sent me out a book of lodgement giros which was amusing as I hadn't seen one in around 2 decades (and which went straight into my recycling bin!).HillStreetBlues said:

Monzo frown on this and will probably prevent you from opening another account with them for a while, though at some point they probably will.tg99 said:Has anyone tried opening a Monzo account and switching it away more than once? have you applied for all three simultaneously?bobeschism said:
I've also gone for the triple. If they all go through, it will take me up to £1550 since I started switching last November!sparky0138 said:
It's just a welcome letter to say your account is ready to use, no switch date.CGG_3 said:I opened a new NatWest account yesterday, and scribbled the 'potential' sort code and account no. down. Did the ID process, okay but was left with the message about running a few checks that could take 24 hours. This morning I have an email from them saying to log in to see my Mailbox as there is a message about my new account ending in '477'. (477 matching the 'potential' account from the application).
I last banked with NatWest seven years ago and have no idea of my old log in details.
I gather from their help, that it will be quicker to wait for the new bank card to arrive to get myself back online, to actually read the message, but for those that have also just opened a new NatWest account and have had the same email, is this just a generic 'Welcome to NatWest' message with no instructions to do anything? Or does it have info of a switching date as well?
Thanks
I've gone for it! 😁yourlocalcheesemonger said:So who's attempted the triple crown?(switching to NatWest, RBS, and Ulster simulatneously)
Yep. Switching to Ulster from Co-op which I got the incentive for earlier this week, and into Nat West and RBS from two Chase secondary accounts that I set up on Thursday. He who dares, Rodney!

Monzo I believe is one month. Starling won't allow you to open a new account for one year if you have previously switched from them.

Have NatWest updated their Paper Bank statements & PDF versions online! As the old ones from what I have seen were A5 side! Is the process applying for the account easy or are they picky like First direct0

Switched from Monzo (once) and they’ve not let me rejoin. They’re strange.1

Have opened a second Chase. I selected to keep my card spending from my first account so presumably when switching this second account I just select the ‘no debit card’ option when RBS asks me if I have a debit card for the account being switched?0

Take care not to overdo things 😎
