Thanks everyone.
Sounds good.
Happy with variable DD, credit check and even a deposit if needed.
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 3.24% of current retirement "pot" (as at end December 2025)0 -
Right… buttons clicked, switch initiated. No deposit requested.
Dual fuel, July V8 (15 month fix)
£85 a year more expensive than our current Octopus fix (ending 1/9/26)…it was nice whilst it lasted.
But…£132 cheaper than Octopus' best new fix options.
Sorry Octopus…but adios.
Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly.

You probably need to apply direct for a gas only tariff, as I'm not aware of any third party sites that that cater for that option currently.
I switched to gas only via MSE energy club.

15m v10 is showing now.
Other suppliers are cheaper at the moment with the added bonus of being able to internally switch penalty free and providing billing that is clear and understandable rather than being "an indication of how the bill was calculated" ! On the plus side they have subsidised my bill by £100 for their incompetence - £60 voluntarily and £40 imposed by the EO. 32 days and counting until I can move away from these chancers.

Prices are moving fast at Fuse (and elswhere). Switched last week to Outfox at 21.32p / 64p standing charge, planned to use the 14 day cooling period of if I had misjudged. Outfox now 23.2p
Here are my logs for Fuse
ie up 11% in a fortnight.
All prices are for the equivalent 12 or 13 month fixed rates Scotland

Is there anyway to see the old Fuse rates on their app, website or elsewhere?

Quick question about Fuse's website.
Our switch has gone through. We are currently away on holiday, so HW switched off at the wall (I've checked Octopus readings, and they show zero usage these past 2 days, so we know we haven't left it on by accident)
Fuse show us as having used 4.6 kwh gas so far today??!!
Is this some sort of estimated daily usage, that we won't actually be billed for?

Fuse estimate your daily use and charge till they get a reading from you or your meter directly. They can’t read my smart meter so it’s corrected at the end of the month when I send a reading. For example My estimated use yesterday was 4.8kwh but I know it was nearer 2kwh.
