Fuse Energy, anybody with them?

I think you'll find that is a correction for an alleged undercharge last month.

Correct. Debits are marked negative and credits positive. The correction is due to them charging for gas on a daily basis - which is why the figures shown on the bill never work out as the CV is not actually the one used for billing and is only "indicative" - and the CV for one or more of those days being adjusted by NG after the initial bill has been calculated.

Hence my Q1 posed earlier in this thread:
i.e.
Q1. How do Fuse Energy estimate/calculate your gas consumption on a day to day basis when you do not have a smart gas meter that they can remotely access to obtain actual daily meter readings?

Do they calculate daily for non smart meters ? Does your bill calculate correctly using the data on the bill and the standard calculation method ? If not they will on request provide a breakdown of how the bill was calculated.

According to Fuse, the gas bill is calculated as you described.
According to my calculations, the gas bill is calculated according to the usual industry method. But whilst the CV is now rounded to 1dp on the bill (not truncated), the underlying calculation uses a CV correct to at least 2dp.
Fuse actually appear to me to be using a CV to 5dp, not sure if that is rounded or truncated.
(i.e Fuse calculation is based upon a CV to 5dp, but it only typically matches my calculation to 2-3dp)
If I am to believe Fuse, based upon one 'correction' they gave me, I calculated that they have assumed I used about 50% of my total monthly consumption in the last 2 days of the month.
I did ask for a breakdown on a day by day basis, particularly when I showed them the calculations, and they told me they were looking into it. That's fine. The longer they look into it, the more time (and data) I will have to take to the Ombudsman.

February & March were also interesting. There were some very late changes made by NG to the daily CV that were not published until April, so after both bills were produced. The CV was generally revised downwards. Yet I'm still waiting for Fuse to issue a correction for the overcharge in those 2 months.
We're only talking pennies, but if they feel the necessity to add a penny or two to the monthly bill when it suits them, then surely they should be returning a penny or two when it is to my advantage.

I'm in the process of leaving Fuse, but checking back again over the last 12 months, I've never had a gas correction ,neither a credit or a debit. Not sure why some have had such corrections but not all ?

Yesterday I renewed my Gas tariff with Fuse on their Aug 15month V4 tariff. Today I noticed a new V5 version a little cheaper so contacted them on chat and was immediately changed to the cheaper V5 version without exit fees as I was within the 14 day cancellation period.
Top Marks to Fuse!
