Question about changing tariff with Fuse. My current fix with them ends in 25 days, looking in the App, can I change to another Fuse tariff and then select a "Change Date" lets say ONE day before my current tariff ends so I stay on my current tariff until then and change in 25 days, will new tariff units be whatever they were when I selected it, regardless of any future changes between??

OK EDIT: Yes this is how it works, the rates are locked in until the new tariff starts, ALSO, if the unit rates change before the start date, say they go down for eg, you can can just cancel the one you set up and select a new one.

Not as cheap as a day or so ago or me.

I prefer to pay an extra 6ppd and 0.5p/kWh less (and I'm quite a lower user of gas).

I've not done the sums, but if you are paying more in standing charge than what you are paying for consumption of kWh, then you'd probably be better off on a tariff with a lower standing charge.

e.g. in my above example, I'd have to use at least 12kWh of gas per day on average to be better off on the higher sc tariff (which I do). 12kWh of gas costs more than the daily standing charge.

For my use their 10.91p sc tariff works out £60 pa dearer than the Eon 29.22p sc tariff so you need to do a full comparison on your personal circumstances and not just look at the cheap standing charge. Also their cheapest dual fuel offering would be with different gas and electric tariffs.

And in answer to the thread title - only until next Wednesday ! Gone back to EonNext, elec slightly dearer but gas cheaper, enough to make a big difference if we get a cold winter. At least I will be able to easily work out my gas bill going forward.

Is it correct they will pay £100 each referral credit even if you switch just single fuel? Looking at moving away from octopus tracker to fuse 14m but just for gas?
