Similar here. I joined on 25/8, 18 month v5, 7.04p kWh and 16.78p SC. Equivalent now is 18 month v10, 8.71p kWh, 10,88p SC. 23.7% increase on unit rate, but decreased SC.

Scary times indeed. I just ran my figures through MSE cheap energy club and looked at the difference if I was to fix now in comparison with the dual fuel fix I took out with them earlier in the year (May v19) and its quoting me £130 more per year

All hardly surprising since the Europeann gas prices are up 3% today, 25% in the last month and over 140% in the last year. A month ago when we switched it was a no brainer, now you have to decide where and when is the peak going to come (probably not until the new year)? I think I would still fix at this time for a year and have fingers crossed that the wars will calm down and new gas licences will be issued.

Yes, I managed to get a new fix at the end of August, and set the start date to the end of September, which is when my current tariff ends. I did change it a couple of times, new gas SC will be 10p rather than 20p that it is now ( I rarely ever use gas). Was hoping there might be tariffs offered before my start date with even better rates, but so relieved I fixed when I did as the new deals from all suppliers are shocking !!

^ None of that is relevant to domestic energy suppliers or utility companies, though. It's all international oil-and-gas companies who are paying the windfall tax to the Treasury.
