Assuming I know that local market town !
I hope you found all of the charity shops... at the last count I got to a total of 11 and I remember seeing galleons in the window of one. I have met folk who have come specially to trawl the chazzers!!
Seems like you had a good spend.
Sometimes you can do well in Mablethorpe, especially for books with 3 for £1Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

A glorious day here today although it was frosty this morning when I got up at 6am. So far today I have done a basket of ironing then went out into the garden. Bought a climbing Jasmine and a Clematis - 2for £12 the other day. Already had 2 matching tall planters so have got them planted up and put into position either side of an iron arch which the local Manor house was giving away, which we put near to our path which leads to the house. Already had compost too so not a bad MSE win total cost £12. After lunch I will go and tie them in. Fingers crossed they both flourish and bloom. Hubby is currently in his workshop spraying the galleon black for my Steampunk pirate hat which he will then attach. Had paint and hat already so total cost £4 for the galleon. Another win.1

Hi @uralmaid loved reading about your recent shopping exploits and glad that you enjoyed time with friends. So nice to finally have sunshine and blue skies, these together with the Spring flowers certainly lifts the spirits. Shame about your potting shed, but sure that you will sort it. I finally made a start on redecorating the house. Started with the smallest room in the house, but it's now done and I'm really pleased with the end result. Hope that you have a good week.0

Morning @uralmaid do we get to see the finished steampunk galleon pirate hat?
I so need to start doing some work in the garden, but my priority is decorating at the moment. That said, I have given myself a week's grace whilst preparing for and spending time with friends this week. Yesterday, DH and I cleaned all the windows of the house, both inside and outside. Oh the joys of spending more time together! lol.0 -
Thankyou. Lovely to see red squirrels. I have never been so lucky. Roll on Spring. Lovely and warm here today. Managed to get quite a bit of weeding done.2
