NST February Forgiveness

Thank you for February @grandmanerd
Today I am quite anxious because I have my appointment with the specialist this evening, and I can't help but feeling rather nervous about it. I have generalised and high functioning anxiety since I was a teen-ager, and it goes up and down. I did CBT in 2020, which helped, but to be honest is not enough. A friend said that the bach flowers have helped her a lot so I was considering trying those, has anyone had experiences with them? Do they help? I'd really like to live life without waking up trembling at 4 am whenever something different is happening in my life.
So today I already know I will not be doing much, apart some work tasks. Good thing tomorrow is a brand new month!
Today I am grateful to have found this forum, joining these challenges has been one of the best decisions I made in 2023. I am also grateful for being lucky not to have to wait a long time for the specialist, and for my OH who can read me like an open book and just knows when I need some extra support.
I am afraid I haven't achieved much of what I wanted in February, but I have indeed meal planned (at least for the first half of the month), I switched to commuting to work with a bus rather than the train, which in the long term is going to save me a lot of money, and I have fully catalogued my yarn stash. I have done 19 out of 18 planned NSD's.
Looking at the list like this I think I have achieved more than I thought! I will put some of the other goals in March, and will also build up on this month's achievements (such as meal planning).

@laura_lau I haven't tried the individual flower remedies, but a great believer in the rescue remedy, which is a mixture of different ones. They've helped me before interviews, when the kids have been driving up the wall & when feeling low. They are available as drops, pastilles or a pillow must I think. I've bought the first 2 & always have a bottle of the drops in store! My mum gets a sort of panic attack in extreme windy weather (a regular occurrence here!) & she swears by the drops too. An added bonus is they're safe to use with children or in pregnancy too, though I'm past that stage now 🤣
Thank you for this month @grandmanerd. Looking forward to reading the March challenge tomorrow & getting under way 😃
What a day today has been! I mustve slept very deeply last night, but definitely needed it! A tough day at work, my little pupil is going through a phase of not wanting to be in school, so difficult when they're upset all day.
Went for a quick walk after school to stomp off some tension, bumped into a slightly older pupil, who made me & his mum laugh!
Watched TV with DS1 when I got home, then did some sewing after tea. Rearranged tomorrow night's Wool Club to next Friday night, so I can recharge my batteries at home. My friend didn't mind & is feeling under the weather too, so think she was quite glad of the new date.
Had a nice soak in the bath.
Grateful for laughter just when I needed it, DH looking after us all, & my friends, who I feel blessed to haveUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃
