Hi, I am in my fourth week and have lost a total of 8.5 lbs, thanks for the link from the Grabbit now board, I want to join in too.
Last week I made some butternut squash, sweet potato and onion soup it was so easy. I baked the veg, scooped out the flesh from the squash and sweet potato, I added the stock and cooked it in the pressure cooker for 10 mins.
When cold I gave it a whirl in the liquidiser and added seasoning - it was so filling. Winter comfort food.:hello:0 -

Possibly, it looks like this thread is going to continue and imagine how many pages we are going to have to go through to get recipes from.
It was just an idea to keep them seperate so that new people can see them easily.0 -

Welcome to all our lovely new members!!!!
We are getting quite a gathering now - it is nice to have so much support for eachother.
I will keep a track of everyones losses/gains this week and post them on Tuesday morning.
So anyone who has been to class since Tuesday morning let me know how you got on and when you were weighed (also if it is your first weigh in) then I will post the list next Tuesday and find our next MSE SOTW0 -
has anyone tried the couscous cake hmmmm yummmy ! and only 2 1/2 sins for the whole cake!!!
Please be careful with the couscous cake (and polenta cakes, lasagne crisps etc). Although they are made from free foods, it is classed as misuse of that food and therefore not actually low or syn free.
I have known members get away with it for a while, but if eaten in excess, you will begin to gain weight.
Also if you need to eat a whole cake  , it looks as though you're not filling up at each meal time, which you should be doing. The whole idea of Food Optimising is that you're eating a healthy diet and with the best will in the world, eating a whole cake doesn't fit into that category!
My favourite saying......................all things in moderation :A
Gingham Ribbon you really should try to have your HEs. The B list ones are there to give your body the fibre it needs to function properly - if you miss them regularly, you will not feel too good IYKWIM !!!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
I messed up spectacularly yesterday, but I texted my consultant and she was very reassuring and just told me to make sure I get back on track 100% today. Today I've done fine and so hopefully haven't sabotaged the whole thing (that's always the danger with me - mess up, then give up).
Trying to think positive!0
