Hi I have lost 3 st so far, I am super obese so I still want/need to loose another 10st hope I can do it. One of our fave recipes at the moment is on a red day slice a pocket into a chicken fillet, press a really light laughing cow triangle. Close flap then wrap chicken in 2 rashers smoky bacon with fat trimmed off. Cook in oven about 45 mins 180 and serve with a huge salad or tons of veg.Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0

It's not a mess up.....just a complicated success! I think there's a thread on this Health & Beauty bit for Cambridge......Full time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.

Remeber when you are on these liquid diets etc. your body is starving. If you are going to do one at least take vitamins maybe get some protein/vitamin powder from holland and barrett and have one of these a day ? Your body will lose weight better when you are getting good nutrientsI have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something0

No, you're not stupid, you're human and we humans make mistakes!
All diets work (including the Cambridge) but at the end of the day, the only way to get weight off and keep it off for ever is to begin a new healthy eating regime.
Liquid diets don't do this - yes they will help you to lose weight, but at some point, you still have to get out of your old, bad habits and learn new, healthy ones.
Eating plans, like Slimming World, aim to teach you healthy eating habits which are there to last you a lifetime. As with all habits, they take time to learn, but once they're part of your life, you should never again have to struggle to lose weight.
Go over to the I Wanna board and look at the recipes there (link at post 1), try out something new and give it another few weeks before going on a liquid diet which is not a natural way for any of us to live.
I guess a lot depends on the size of your appetite, but given the choice, would you rather have a jacket potato filled with tuna and sweetcorn and a large salad on the side or a half pint of milkshake?I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

theres not many forums on the internet for slimming world are there? i did find a few but not many on them..
i am doing red days all the time i lerve meat and spent a total of £200 in tescos today (£60 on baby clothes lol) i have got steak, chicken, eggs and cod ...... oh and my muller lights (free) for my sweet tooth.. i have also bought nimble bread for my heb and i will have milk as my hea not sure what else for my heb yet probably weetabix not so sure about potatoes as i will end up just eating loads and loads and then go of the wagon (pots seem to have that affect on me lol)
i might join meetings in a few weeks see how i get on.. just difficult with the baby and all that.... my goal is to lose over 50 pounds ..
good luck to everyone.. please keep posting here... glad i posted now
if you are doing red days all the time then you have to limit your potato if it comes under HEB if not your potatoes need to be syn-edBaby Milk Action is a non-profit organisation which aims to save lives and to end the avoidable suffering caused by inappropriate infant feeding.0 -
