Well, I go for my first meeting tomorrow night I hope I do as well as you do.
CongratulationsSEALED POT CHALLENGE 6 - MEMBER NUMBER 086 Special Star from Sue :staradmin :T:T0 -
I will post the leek and potato soup for you later when i get home from work!
Weigh in tonight, ive just ate a raisin & biscuit YORKIE! i know im very bad!
Ive resisted all morning! We have a vending machine at work and it is soooo DANGEROUS!
Does anyone else have 1 week a month that isnt star week where they really crave bad things? im starting to notice a trend with this and it is normally 2 weeks before star week.
That week happens to be now, and ive really held back all week managing to stick to it apart from the yorkie! im soooo disappointed. :mad:0 -
What is Star Week? It's been mentioned a couple of times here, and my consultant mentioned it to someone last week??0

So unless anyone tells me any different MSE SOTW goes to..........Snuggles :T :T
Ooooh thanks guys, finally I am good at something!!!! :j Just hope I can keep it up, weigh in day tomorrow, good luck everyone for this week!!
I'm still feeling really motivated, and not finding it too difficult at the moment. One thing though, I tend to be a bit unimaginative with what I am cooking, and I am getting a bit bored with eating steamed veg every night. I do occasionally stir fry my veg, but does anyone have any other ideas on how to make veg a bit more interesting? I was thinking of some kind of veg bake, but don't know what to put in it (milk? eggs? quark????).0 -
Miss Phish - I forgot to get the PW too as I just got weighed and didn't stay for IT. I am sure last week's will probably work for a wee while yet at any rate. My last consultant had it written down on the pay in desk which was handy rather than having to remember to announce it at IT but I suppose it gets you to stay but not handy if like me you just can't sometimes.
Was it someone on here suggested mixing 1 tsp of lemon curd with 0% Greek? If it was thank you thank you thank you. I bought some curd last night and I have had to spend 2 syns on this already today as it is just soooo good. I think the sharpness of the lemon disguises the sharpness of the yoghurt so it tastes even creamier than normal in a bizarre way, it tasted so sinful. WOW! I think you could crumble a meringue nest into this for a dinner party and no one would think diet food and the syns would be still low.0 -

Star week is what we call the time of the month when you're on a period.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Jeanette I know when I did SW before I never had a problem weight wise on my star week it was always a week or so later. Damn hormones.0

Are any nuts free? I can´t find any
There are no free nuts, but lots which can be taken as a HEB.
Perhaps you could use golden syrup to bind the cereal together for the bars. At 2 syns a level tablespoon it's not too bad and would bind better than chocolate I think.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
I thought it was free but then read the post about cooked fruit being syns so could someone please advise. I did lose 3and a 1/2 (can`t do half sorry) pounds last week which made 7 pounds in 3 weeks so it can`t be that bad but would like to know. Good luck everyone.
Cooked fruit has a syn value because it takes far more of the whole fruits to satisfy the appetite.....for instance if you wanted a bowl of stewed apple it would take several apples to produce a fairly small bowl of the stewed stuff. You miss out on the peel, which is where the fibre is and it's much easier to eat so you also miss out on the 'chewing' which actually helps you to feel full.
In the case of your blueberries, if you're only having a handful anyway, it wouldn't really make a difference, so eat them and enjoy!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0
