Well done poodlehorse, a pound off is better than a pound on!! But I so know what you mean. That is always my downfall with dieting. If I 'feel' I have worked hard, stayed on track, done excercise etc and step on the scales and I expect to lose more than a pound and then the scales say only 1/2 pound, I am gutted and think: What is the point??? I have such a long way to go. I am considering not weighing myself every week to avoid this, but I am too curious and don't think I could stick to only weighing once a month say.
nspsmama : I hate frylight too, it's disgusting. I filled a spray bottle with olive oil and use a non stick pan so don't need a lot and I rather syn that than use that frylight. how do you use the baco release foil? In you frying pan as well? to stir fry? That would be good, will look out for it in Asda or Tesco.
I am in for a stressful day, review meeting at school for DD, hate those things and very emotional. but I will not comfort eat, it won't make things better, so there I have written it down and will stick to it..
poodlehorse, enjoy your sons birthday and the time with your Oh and family!0 -
Well done Lady VI you lost heaps! I think that makes you MSESOTW
Though of course Tenmah might quickly take it from you tomorrow!
Remember it was LadyV1 1st week so it really doesn't count in the rules of SOTW as you are expected to have a bigger loss on week 1.
They are official SW rules - so I thought it best we follow them too so as not to confuse or upset anyone.
Sorry Lady V1 - it was a fantastic first week loss though :T . xx
Lots of luck to everyone

I don't weigh myself every week right now as like you said it is dissapointing when you don't lose much or none at all, at the moment I am not very well and haven't been exercising which I know is the only way for me to shift some serious weight, I think after losing 4.5 stone and doing Slimming World for a year my body needs the extra help exercising gives to get it moving.
If you've had a dissapointing weigh in and there is no reason for it just remember how far you have come and how much you have lost and be proud of yourself for sticking to eating well, I'm sure we will get to the weight we want to be eventually if we are determined enough.
Well done everyone who has had good losses this week :TFollowing the Slimming World Plan and Exercising
* * Weight lost since 2007 = 7 stone 3 lbs * *
13 lbs still left to lose

Lastly, what am i doing wrong with Frylight...it doesn't seem to stop things from sticking and it has a funny taste.
Isn't it disgustin?! Do you s'pose that SW have shares in/own Frylight cos they don't half promote it whereas in a WW book I have they just say 'low fat spray oil'!!!
I use olive oil in a spray bottle.Piggypoints - 207+£10 * Quidco - £95 * Tesco - 1095 * Sainsbugs - 4237I SHALL be debt free!!!!!:D

Has anyone tried Quorn for sandwiches etc? I'm getting stuck for green days especially for my OH. I'm happy with egg mayo, a flask of soup, mug shot or pasta bake, but he likes something to get his teeth into!
Has anyone tried the Quorn 'chicken' fillets strips in a fromage frais coronation chix sauce? Or the faita strips? WOuld they be ok cooked then cold in a wrap?
BTW has anyone got the receipe for Corrie Chix Fromage Frais sauce? Was it just curry powder and fromage frais? I forget!
Thanks0 -
