Alright ladies, time for a confession - i didn't get weighed this week cos I havent ben sticking to it very well. I have had my period and am hoping that is why I've gone AWOL but just eating wayyyy too much and of the wrong things. Big time. Gonna call my lass tomorrow and see if she can get me back on the straight and narrow, does anyone have any words of wisdom they'd like to share - i could really do with it right now. xxPiggypoints - 207+£10 * Quidco - £95 * Tesco - 1095 * Sainsbugs - 4237

miss_phish - stick with it, we all feel fat at times of the month but you may be surprised you've maintained or put on very little - if at all - however stick with it and you'll turn that into a good loss for next week. Get your food diary out and give it ya all this week!
You could try the healthy B challenge if you find you're in a rut - try having 10 different healthy B's through the week! Tough but it makes you think!0 -
Well I think it is so easy not to go when you feel like that and I am guilty of it in the past but I think the best thing is to go (you have to pay for it anyway so you might as well) that way you know where you are and get the encouragement from the class about where it might all have gone a bit wrong. I had my period a couple of weeks ago and it did get tougher to stick to it as all I want to do is eat cheese and if I can't have that then the choc cravings come. I don't know if I have any wise words at all as sometimes I just give in to it all and other times I just go eat loads of free foods so I couldn't eat another thing if I wanted to LOL. Draw a line under the last week and start tomorrow. Plan your week so you know the meals you will have and I like to have my snacks pretty much sorted too hence a big multipack of French Fries sitting in my cupboard for those munchy moments, I always thought they were 4.5 syns but decided to double check them after someone said they were 4 and lo and behold there are two weights one is 4 and one 4.5 and MINE have just been weighed cos there wasn't a weight on the pack anywhere and they are 4 syns!!!!! Finding something like that really helps me so that in my danger time which is mid evening I can sit down to two of them with a gin and slimline if I like and feel totally undietlike. Or have one and a curlywurly. It does mean I tend not to use my syns through the day for sauces etc but I find that pretty easy and it is worth it to get my treats at night. If I am still munchy after that lot then it is a bag of grapes that I sit beside me on the sofa so it is easier to eat them than go raid the fridge. Don't know if any of that helps at all. We will nag you tomorrow to phone though! Get back on track now otherwise you will be wanting to skip next week too and by then it will be cheaper to rejoin than it is to pay back your fees. miss phish - in the moneysavers arms, Murphy The Cat has his "no more pies club" which I am also a poster on. Basically lately we've all picked a smilie, mine is an angel :A...so when I have 3 good days I get :A:A:A, and tonight the only thing that stopped me from eating crisps is not getting todays angel. My personal best is 4 (arent I crap!), if you mess one day up, you have to start again from zero! it keeps me going! you can do it, just remember how far you have come and if you are supergood this week (post period) think how good the result will be
skint catt - thanks for the heads up on the baguette. it was actually the size of a small bread roll, and only one half of it, hence why it was so low, i shouldnt have called it a baguette, its helpful to have the synts pointed out though (esp after macaroni!!) roll wasn't worth it either :cool:

terrible isn't it, the time of the month munchies?? they get me every month and I have decided that this time around I will just accept it. If I can be an angel for 3 weeks and lose well and steadily and slip a bit for 1 week then so be it. I will try and limit the damage so I won't put all the weight on in one week :rolleyes: but won't beat myself up over it. Put a line under it, accept it and start again, we will all help eachother through the munchie moments0 -

Mumoftwo that is probably a very healthy attitude to take. When they ask you about "star weeks" I never wobble weightwise that week, it is always the week after. So thinking about it this week's weigh in would be the wobbly one so I don't feel so bad now about my pound. I love the angels idea, for some reason I never venture into the arms, maybe I will have to havea nosey soon. Off to bed now though, nightienight sweet dreams.0
