    Hi mumoftwo

    My day has been good so far, but just beginning to feel hungry. I did the wrong thing and weighed myself tonight and it didn't look too good so got disheartened.

    It is only my first weigh in tomorrow and i wanted to do well in the first week.

    Tenmah

    Don't be hungry and don't worry! You always do better than you think in the first week - I thought Id lost 2/3lbs in my first week - I'd lost 7lbs!!!!

    If you find yourself hungry fill up with Mullerlight yoghurt over a big bowl of fruit!

    Hello, If anyone would like an electronic version of the food diary then PM me with your email address and I will email it to you. Ananci sent me that too when she sent me all the electronic info.:T

    I am having a good day. As a chocoholic I save my syns for sweet things and have had four cups of options :eek: plus a teaspoon of jam so 8.5 syns.

    Since we are all posting what we have had, here is what I have had. I think the rest of my food was free, please let me know if I am wrong lol.

    Red day.

    Slice of nimble wholemeal toast (HEB, teaspoon of jam, coffee, milk from allowance.

    egg fried in fry light.

    Pineapple and melon salad.

    Grilled salmon, roasted and mashed butternut squash, home made salsa, kale.

    tiny piece of lamb chop all skin and fat trimmed off, more of the veg from lunchtime.

    some quorn style ham
    2 alpen light bars

    Later tonight I will have the second slice of toast from the HEB section along with the cheese from Healthy allowance A and a cup of tea.

    OMG!... As you can see I eat loads :rotfl: so lets hope the 'you can eat as much as you like' thing is true lol.

    jamtart6 - how much white bagette did you have? 3.5 syns seems awfully low if it was a whole one (even small). :confused:

  • Mum of two - wholemeal bread is HEB on both days.

    I have been guilty of guestimates re syns lately. I think I get cocky as I have done SW on and off for 6 years so I get a bit laid back and then boom I get a week where I don't do too well and that shocks me back. Today has been okay, had bacon and egg and tomato for brekkie, lunch was a cheese and tomato toastie (HEB and HEA) and a yoghurt, then I had two treat size Dairy Milks, I just had to at the time but wish I had saved my syns for night now. Dinner was steak and roasted veg and mashed swede and a bit of mustard on the side and another yoghurt. I am realising that I do eat through boredom/habit quite often rather than hunger. The choc was just a need for something sweet that I hadn't had in ages and the yoghurts were just a need to eat something but not a hunger thing at all. Interesting. But I reckon I have come out bang on 10syns with one HEA spare so that is a good day all round.
    Not sure about tomorrow, I am tempted by the luxury macaroni cheese recipe into having a green day but there is bacon left and some casserole steak. Hmmmm suppose I could mix2max and have the bacon AND the macaroni and cook the casserole for the next night. Haven't done a M2M yet and a weeny bit scared to try especially on a week that i am determined to lose 2lb, don't want to rock the boat. Anyone else tried one yet?
  • I'm like meal planning too, gives a sense of control (rather than the food available controling me). My plan for the rest of the week is:

    thurs - green day:

    breakfast = porridge (HEB + milk=HEA)
    lunch = cous cous & cottage cheese salad
    dinner = quorn mince pasta bolognase (topped with cheese HEA)
    fruit + a muller light as snacks

    no syns, HE B left over.

    fri - red day

    breakfast = weetabix + millk (HEA&B)
    lunch = chicken salad
    dinner = duck pancakes and salad (?? syns in pancakes and sauce, DDs birthday treat :eek: will only have 2 small pancakes)

    fruit + a muller light as snacks

    syns in panc, HE A + B left over

    what does everyone think? am i eating too much?
  • They have taken the Weight Watchers one off of the list of 42g cereals on the online site, it says you can have 28g.

    The online site says you can have 42g of the following -

    42g Kellogg's All-Bran
    42g Nestle Fibre 1
    42g Tesco Hi Fibre Bran
    42g Vogel's Soytana
    42g Vogel's Ultra Bran, Soya & Linseed
    42g Weetabix Crunchy Bran

    I got all excited at the realisation there were cereals I could have more of than 28g (DOH!) and thought the Fibre 1 sounded less scary than the All Bran although they might be identical for all I know as I have never actually heard of Fibre1 before, anyway when I logged on to check the whole HE list out I can't find it on the HEB list at all?:confused: Either the site is playing silly beggars with me or they have just taken it off since I am assuming MME cut and pasted that list in. Can someone else go back in and check it isn't me?

    Poodlehorse the SW site has been playing up all evening for me. At first it was logging errors when I tried to log in then it wouldn't let me in to Syns Online!
  • Right I am obviously having a very stupid day today. BUT I have just realised thanks to lifeline online that you can't have cheese as a HEB on a Red Day. I always thought you could have that on both in addition to your HEAs, not that I have ever actually needed to use a HEB for cheese anyway but it is a total revelation to me that. Was it always thus or is this a change? I'm going to need that confused smilie again :confused:
