  • Vicky thanks I hope you wouldn't mind. Probably a bit late for you now but make sure you don't overcook the tuna steaks as they quickly go dry.

what do you mean by extra food diary skintcatt? half a pound is nothing really don't sweat it! it will be all off and more by next week!!

Food diary as in the sheet you fill in daily to keep track of free food, a's b's and syns - it helps to see what I've had in black and white and where my gaps are. It's helped me to stick with it, but I've got lazy now so need some more to fill in, but she only gives me one at a time rather than a bundle my old consultant used to give me.

Not worried about the 0.5lb really just annoyed that I've got lazy!

Me too Catt, i got lazy with filling in my food diary, i then have guesstimates as to how many syns ive used  , decided i have to fill them in and use them properly, if i run out i just write down on a piece of paper in the same kind of layout, i find it help just as well.

Thanks for that, i wasnt sure how to cook them as its the first time ive tried fresh tuna, i sprayed them lightly with fry light then covered them in tinfoil and cooked on a low heat. Had them with lots of green veg mmm yummy.

Does this mean ive eaten omega 3 oils ??? Will i get brainy haha ?

Another good day and i still have all my 10 syns for today plus yesterdays :D Tho im debating whether to have a fudge or not.

Oh wwent to Asda today to get my Alpen light wooo hoooo they were on offer 2 boxes for £3 - bargain as they were £1.75 each.

    tra for now

Welcome Tenmah, how was your day?

I went to Asda tonight too and got 4 boxes of Alpen light on the 2 for £3 offer. great aren't they?

Just a quick question: Are the 2 slices of wholemeal bread from 400gr loaf allowed as an HE b on original day (red) or just on green? I need to take lunch to work tomorrow and want to do a red day, could take egg sandwiches, otherwise my day will have to be green. thanks a lot

    Hi mumoftwo

My day has been good so far, but just beginning to feel hungry. I did the wrong thing and weighed myself tonight and it didn't look too good so got disheartened.

It is only my first weigh in tomorrow and i wanted to do well in the first week.

    Day 3

    250ml semi skimmed - healthy A
    2 weetabix -healthy B

    Pasta (free)

    Supernoodles 6.5
    1 tsbp Green pesto 4
    White Baguette (guess) 3.5
    margarine 1
    GREEN DAY

That was my menu today! Not bad seeing as though I had no meals planned, I've done ok. It totals 15 syns. First time in ages I havent cheated on a diet!

    Day 1 - 10.5 syns
Day 2 - 17.5 syns (including the mishap with the macaroni cheese)
    Day 3 - 15 syns

So a bit more than I should have, but not bad given it was all done "on the hop" and the macaroni cheese was supposed to be free!!

Need to do some exercise really! Who fancies an exercise challenge??

:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A
