Hi - just found this thread! I've lost 1.5stone so far on this SW go - I've got a further 5 stone or so to go (4 stone until my OH will take me to the states for a pressie). I lost 3.5 stone last time, but got depression and comfort ate it all back on
Hopefully this thread will keep me on the straight and narrow!

Sorry just read to the end of your post.
A typical days food for me is as follows:
2 weetabix with skimmed milk (or oatabix)
lunch 3 or 4 slices of granary bread, butter (my downfall) and cottage cheese or sardines.
Evening meal, usually loads of veg, potatoes are a must have and meat or salmon which I love poached.
very rarely have ready meals.
Snacks during the day if anything will be fruit - dont eat after my evening meal at all.
That is about it, I don't each biscuits, cakes, sweets or chocolates.
Do like my tea with 2 sugars though !!!
Hope you can give me an idea or 2SEALED POT CHALLENGE 6 - MEMBER NUMBER 086 Special Star from Sue :staradmin :T:T0 -
Wow Skint-Cat
You will be my incentive. Amazing well done :j :j :jSEALED POT CHALLENGE 6 - MEMBER NUMBER 086 Special Star from Sue :staradmin :T:T0 -
I don't feel like an incentive having put the last lot back on but thanks. I still have my 'small' clothes and love looking at them and remembering how good it felt!
However, have just read the thread about artificial sweetners causing depression so I'v just made life harder for myself - I don't want to risk a depression relapse so I'm having to stay away from Splenda! Not a hardship as I don't bake, but I won't be able to drink coffee any more (no great loss as I only started drinking it last year anyway!)0 -
You could try tea with honey?
I don't like artificial sweeteners anyway, so suffer tea with no sugar, kinda getting used to it now.
I was reading today that a handful of brazil nuts a day helps the body produce seratonin, the feel good chemical. Don't know if that may be of interest to you.
I still have my small clothes as well, they just make me mad to look at them and I have banished them to the suitcase until I am sure I will fit into them.
Makes me feel better to do that anyway.
And I will still have you as my incentive, if you don't mind luv

No worries Nessa! I'll be here all the way now!
Tea I'm ok with - I've drunk tea without sugar for a few years now and actually can't drink sweet tea - it reminds me of shock! :rotfl:
Might try the brazil nuts! I've got cashew nuts for toothache too though I've never been much of a nut eater!

Cashew Nuts for toothache, must remember that one.
I am with you on the coffee I couldn't drink it without sugar, I also only started drinking it last year but I only drink one every couple of days so easy to go without I suppose.
I am looking forward to this nowit will be interesting to say the least.
I am aiming to sign up on Wednesday so will let you know how I get on. I need to lose 2 stone want to lose 3 so we will see what we will see.
Gotta go now but PM me if you wanna talk at any time, if not see you on here again very soon I hope.
Take care
