First weigh in.....15 days after starting.
A loss, but only 0.8kg. Long way to go......
Making a big effort this week, and planning one of those kick start weeks for next time I'm on decent shift pattern.(About 2 weeks time).
I've been following your messages and they are proving to be quite motivational at times, although I do miss the "nagging" from the group.
Thanks for listening
Cheers you lotAttend SW Tuesdays =
Walk to station every day = :j
3 workouts per week = None :embarasse
Plan my meals weekly = Nope:eek:0 -

Pull your bleedin finger out! Nag nag nag etc
Loner - don't fret you'll get there, most people on here tend to lose one week, maintain the next and put on, the trick is not to get gloomy about it and just to accept that a meandering weight loss is how it is going to be. We all hear stories of people losing 5 stone in a fortnight and then putting 10 stone back on six months later, if you lose slow then people tend to keep it off fo longer or forever.
I'm very much a slow mover, I lost a stone from August to October, then we had a family tragedy and I slipped off the wagon only stepping back on a month ago, the loss is slower this time but I've lost the few pounds I'd put on since October and I'm happy for that. Don't let the lure of the quick fix tempt you, you're doing really well.
Keep reading this thread, it'll help focus you. Good luck chuck x:staradmin0 -
Triple whammy tonight, lost 1.5lbs, got my club 10 and slimmer of the week! I have to accept that I am amazing sometimes
. Using this boost now to fill in my food diary, cos I find it really helpful and I've been getting v lazy of late.
Tried the Bean and Quorn Sausage Bake from the website - I am the stodge queen, and if anyone ever fancies trying something realy filling and smooshy (?), give it a go. I normally have trouble overcooking quorn sausages, but I tried the cumberland ones and they were lovely and juicy.0 -

Morning all
Weigh in this morning, and it's not looking good, if I'm lucky I have maintained. It's my own fault, I am really good during the day and then blow it at night when I'm sitting watching the telly.
Tasting day today, so I am taking a leek and bacon bake. I have used 1lb potatoes, 57g of cooked bacon, 2 leeks and 28g of cheese sprinkled on top - I think it should be free on a green day. If not, can someone please tell me quickly.
Will report the extent of my shame later :rolleyes:You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
shanleypink wrote: »I can recommend the SW curry book. Made Beef Kofta and Seekh kebabs last night with mint and cucumber raitha and it was absolutely gorgeous, my Husband was really impressed. There was no way you could class it as diet food and I was full to the brim afterwards- plus it was ALL free! They were really good fun to make aswell. Stink of garlic today though and I am now about to unleash it on all my work colleagues..... oops...
We have cooked the Beef Madras curry - free on a red day plus the onion bhajis 1 syn each on green/red and the tomato relish (free on both days) it not called that - its got some fancy name but is associated with the onion bhajis). All of this is very very yummy and very very tasty and you would not think you were eating slimming world food. I highly recommend this book.0 -
Im thinking of having a shop delivered from Asda next week and just wondered for all those people who shop in Asda regularly if you can recommend any slimming world friendly foods particularly any asda own brand products?
Many thanks.0 -
