  • I joined again last week. I'm hoping 3rd time lucky!!
I got to my target weight 3 years ago and never went back - BIG mistake!
Joined again in August last year. Lost 1 1/2 stone by November then went away for a couple of weeks. Every week I intended to go back but kept thinking I better lose any weight I'd gained before I went back - BIG mistake!
So I went back last week - I'd gained 8 lbs since November.
Weigh in tonight and I've lost 4 1/2 lbs this week.
This time I'll keep going even if I think I've had a gain. Missing 1 week to try to lose any gained weight does not work for me.

I let my mind wander and it never came back!

yesterday i bought a butternut squash as i was feeling brave now i don't know what to do with it...any ideas? please don't say any kind of soup tho, can't stand soup

You could just chop it into large chunks and roast it (using Fry Light) along with your potatoes.

bafty crastard on the whole, 'missing a week to try to lose any gained weight does not work' for many people.........you've learned a good lesson!

Why not write a letter of complaint to SW head office? The more people complain, the better the chance of getting something done.

There are so many new things coming along all the time, I guess it's hard to keep the website up to date, but these things are almost always in the magazine on the pages for "Food News" and your Consultant should be able to tell you too.

I work for an estate agency - its not hard to make instant changes to a website! I pay for this service along with the services of my class. I don't know why I'm bothering - what else am I eating that I shouldn't be?

I agree with you actually, you do pay for this service, but as I said before, write to SW and tell them how you feel. It'll be far more likely to get the response you want than complaining on here.

Just because the cereal bars aren't on the website hardly means you don't know what you can eat! You won't be eating anything you shouldn't if you follow the FO book. This lists all the foods which have been nutritionally recommended to keep you healthy while still losing weight.

New foods come out almost daily which of course won't be in your book until they are tested but will be listed in the magazines as soon as possible, if they fit the stringent criteria.
