    Hi Girls!

Thanks so much for the welcome and especially to lovely Catt for her help. Me and my OH have decided to have a go on our own as WW has cost me a fortune, and money is really tight. If I really struggle I will have to join a class. There seem to be loads of helpful info on here, I'm glad I found you all!

shanleypink, you're closer to the truth than you think!

I haven't - but my OH's been bunged up and we went to two supermerkets this afternoon to find some Prune juice after my reading that it worked on here! He had two glasses and combined with his IBS and our spicy Quorn curry from the magazine has really set him off :rotfl:

I've just got a stomach bug or something disagreed with me - its his turn up there now! :rotfl: You've gotta laugh - when it doesn't hurt anyway!
Did my prune juice remedy work then?:T

Got weighed for the first time (for a while, anyway) this morning - eek! Why is it always worse than you expect? Anyway, a fresh start. I'm still trying to get my head around everything but learning loads from all the info on here. Great resource and means of support...think I'm gonna need it...

    Hi Skint-Catt

Pesto is a stir through pasta sauce its made with basil, parmesan and pine nuts blended up. it is very concentrated so you only need 1-2 tablespoons for half a 500g pack of pasta (to serve one person with a hearty appetite)

The way i've described it doesn't sound really nice but its gorgeous and really easy to boil up some pasta (i always use wholemeal for extra fibre) mix some pesto in and fling some salad on the side. good for when you can't be bothered to cook properly and low syns - i tend to use 1 tablespoon of the sainsburys low fat version.

you can always mix it with quark or hellmanns v low fat mayo if you like

Sarbut, your food diaries look pretty good, the only thing I can't tell is whether you're eating enough of the free food. Please believe that you can (and should) be eating enough free foods to make you feel full after each meal.

You could try to introduce a couple of extra red days (provided you like meat or fish) this may help with variety issues. Also you may like to try Mix2Max and Success Express - anything to 'confuse your body' should help to get things moving again.

If you need a hand understanding how M2M and SE work, I'll be happy to help.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

    Hi

just a quick question, I wanted to buy the food directory from the online book service but do you have to be a member attending class or can anyone phone and order them.

    Hi Mel

Not got the hang of this quoting business yet, but no, you don't have to be a member. I ordered the new one the other day over the phone. It's £6.95 plus £2.00 p & p. I was amazed when I saw people on ebay paying a fortune for them...
