Hi peachyest - I was going great guns until OH found my birthday box of choccies from my Mum. Of course I couldn't sit here watching him so I feel I've blown all my hard work this week! Didn't help that I weighed myself earlier (naughty naughty me) and I've put on 4lbs since Friday   Don't know where thats come from but will have to be ultra good to hit my target of 2lbs by Tuesday night!

I try to be really good in the week, but I probably use my syns by having a large glass of wine at night.

However, I do have a bit of a blow out on Saturday night, I have an Indian which uses about 12 syns (I only eat half), but then have a couple of glasses of wine. If it means I am only going to lose weight slowly, then so be it, I am dieting to make myself feel better, not miserable :p

i'm the same i tend not to use syns in the week (i'm good at not snacking) and then relax at the weekend. me and oh have indian on a friday night and i have lost 1.5 stone since oct. i'm happy to lose it slow as long as i'm losing if i felt i was being deprived of anything i would'nt be able to do it, at least if i'm good in the week i have something to look forward to at the weekend

I'm a real picker, the days i'm out at work I am fine i'll go all day without snacking or i'll just eat whatever fruit i've taken with me for snack. but when i'm at home, especially whilst studying all I want to do is eat, i think the cupbaoard doors will be worn out soon hehe.

charlies-mum - thanks you just reminded me i had a glass of wine earlier, hiccup! LOL... i forgot to write that on my sheet :)

Not a bad day today for me but totally ran out of food now so down to bare minimum to eat until tesco deliver my shop tomorrow night.

skint-catt - I'm sure the chocs wont hurt your WL too much and you can get back on track soon.. I weighed myself last week and had lost 5.5lb, then only 1.5 10 minutes before I went to WI and then i'd lost 3.5!!??? so this week im not going to and just see what it brings. Are your scales normally the same as WI ones?

    Thanks again Skint_Catt!!
I'm starting SW again after losing the plot a bit over the last few weeks, I had lost 1st 3lb but I have put 1/2 st back on :0(
Tomorrow is another fresh start, going for a green day I think, as it's easy enough to take a jacket potato and beans for work!! Might do a Quorn curry and rice for tea too!! I am 15st now and need to get down to 10st, so I have a way to go yet....hopefully it wont take me too long and I hope I will get lots of support on here from you guys!! It's frustrating that SW doesn't have a forum on the website!!
Good luck to anyone else starting a fresh this week.....let the diet begin!!
This might not sound too nice- but it is, and really quick on a green day!
I call it 4 can curry:

    1 bag Quorn mince
    1 tin sweetcorn
    1 tin baked beans
    1 tin chopped tomatoes
    curry powder to taste

Literally bung it all in a pan and heat through! It freezes well and is nice and thick, have it with rice, pasta, cous cous or jacket spud.
Oh, and yes- I know there are only three cans in it- but I remember that there are four ingredients and curry powder!! :):confused:
