gailemma I'm guessing the fact you freeze them doesn't change how they are produced, so they should remain free. I think the pre-frozen ones must be produced differently!0

I just tried to make the cous cous cake, but it didn't taste cake like - just like cous cous with a bit of almond and cherry in it :rotfl:
Am I hoping for too much - or did I go horribly wrong0 -
why dont you try and keep as much syns as you can for weekend , and if crips and wine are your fix ,on a green day make syn free ones or have low syn ones like frenchfrys 4. 5 syns , golden wonder lights (all variteties ) 4.5, weightwatchers , most are about that too , when i get a chance ill make a list and post . also for cheese & biscuits keep your h/a for cheese and use one of your h/b for ryvitas, or buy some quark and syn some philadelphia light (chives or garlic& herb ) put it in the quark and leave overnight, it takes the flover and you can use it all week and once you,ve syned it you can have as much as you like on ryvitas or toast or jackets , if you put your laughing cows in itthe same thing happens and you dont have to syn it0

Thanks peachyest crisps are definately 'my thing'. i think it is a case of me getting used to eating treats through the week as well of a weekend because i lost over a stone before christmas doing a kind of starve and binge diet so anything eaten at the weekend was lost through the week.
The SW plan is completely different so i need to get my head around it.
a list of the crisps would be great ( i think i'm a crisp addict)

Hi all
Have decided to try the Slimming World diet as I've got 2 months before I need to put my bikini back on.
I'm not a big veggie person so I'm going to try and do mainly red days and take the hit with the extra cost of buying loads of meat
I do love fruit but I'm not sure if all fruit is 'free'
Can anybody help and let me know if there is any fruit which I should avoid for a red day based diet please?
Thanks
The red day plan does not exclude vegetables - in fact you are encouraged to eat as many as possible with ALL your meals, whichever plan you're on. If you start having loads of just meat, not only is it going to cost a fortune, but it sounds as if you may stray towards the Atkins diet, which is nutritionally unsound and not at all what Slimming World is all about.
All fruit is free on both plans, as long as it is eaten fresh or frozen, not mashed, pulped or juiced. This has nothing to do with 'changing the sugars in the fruit' but is solely down to the fact that you can consume far too much fruit without it satisfying your appetite in any way.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0
