 Happy new week everyone, it's my weigh in tonight and I will have to remove another item of clothing as I don't want to register a gain - how sad is that?
Maybe I could shave my legs too.

On the subject of red v green days.

One of the members at our club has lost 9 stones on all green days, she is an inspiration. Others say that red works better for them, I must say I prefer green days especially when the weather is cool as I find it more comforting.:rotfl: :rotfl:

    morning all
peachy, the rice pud was fab, made it in ramekins so i didn't eat it all at once, but ate them cold cos they were so yum.
not a bad weekend, but feeling a bit bleurgh today, got a headache, wondering if its because i've cut right down on tea and coffee,
hope everyone is well, looking forward to reading the thread and catching up with everything

    160
  • I don't drink coffee 160, but missing a cup of tea for too long will give me a headache too, so it could well be that.

Weighed this morning, dropped another half-pound, well chuffed. Yesterday was a bit of a disaster food-wise, as it was my daughter's birthday party. I don't think I really ate enough proper food all day as I was so busy, and I did snaffle a few Pringles and iced ring biscuits while we were tidying up. Had the rest of the Quorn chilli from the day before with a little rice for tea, but I'm not going to worry about the few "wrong" things, as I've been pretty good all week and been to the gym twice. It's not the end of the world and I've still lost.

Hello to all the new joiners:T

I'm not really ready for weigh-in tomorrow I just don't feel like I've tried enough! I must really make sure I fill in my food diaries every day as I know I'm slipping but I just block it out of my head!

I take everything that can come off! All jewellery, socks, excess underwear (not everything!), belts, large hair clips/bands, glasses etc! I'm so superstitious! :rotfl:

hiya, i'm finding it hard to adjusting to doing it without the food diary sheets, little syns keep passing me by, and i've ended up writing a list of them to keep track. i've now got a little notebook in my handbag, so any hea/heb/syns i eat i jot down, then i know i don't lose track. i've found it really helps. especially at the end of the day, i know if i got enough left for a treat at night, as thats my munchie time.

Hi & welcome Jackie. Funny old thing sharing your weight isn't it. I was exactly the same at school - didnt help that all my mates were tiny tho!

I only told my fella the night i returned from my first weigh in - he'd been asking me for months! When i told him he gave me a big hug and thanked me cos he now felt i trusted him. It was a mini breakthrough for me too, even if i did clock in at almost the same weight as him....:o :rotfl:

Anyway soon it wont matter, you'll be so proud telling people how much you lost xx

I am off to get weighed tonight, again i don't think ive done very well - it really sucks having class the first night after the weekend... Not fair :o Hey ho. Good luck this week ladies (any gents yet?)
PS Welcome to all the other newbies too :T

    Thank you. :)

Well i've been and it was great. We had a separate bit to get weighed, so it was more private. And the lovely leader made a point of telling us newbies that they'd never tell anyone our weight - so a big relief!

I'm all fired up and ready to go. :D

I met my Brown Owl (Brownies lol), who I hadn't seen in over 30 years. I don't go out much so it was lovely to get out of the house. She asked me what time it was so I looked at my watch. I mentioned that i'd only got it from my auntie today, for my birthday. She asked how old I was, so I told her. I got a round of applause for being 40. :D

I think i'm going to get a lot out of this. Onwards and upwards!

Btw, I wish I weighed the same as my hubby. I probably have to lose as much as he weighs!! We're like Jack Spratt and his missus (except skinny guts eats the fat off the bacon, and I don't!) :o

:bdaycake: Happy Birthday Jackie! How nice you knew someone! Hope you get on really well.

I've generally always weighed more than my partners but as my OH so kindly told me yesterday I don't look the weight I am - I carry it well, so I am relieved! I was told that by the nurse at my Drs once when she weighed me! She couldn't believe I was so heavy! :rotfl:
