well i stopped feeling sorry for myself ( like miss- phish , i wish it was thursday or friday ). so im sitting down later and doing a plan , plan my meals for week , lable the meals i make and buy for freezer , write everything down in my little book then on to food diary, make differet foods because your body get used to the same things , more freefood- fresh veg, fruit , more water -hot lemon& sweetner , making more stews, soups to take into work . Then next week review it were i can make changes to inprove it and see if its worked
  • Right, after weeks of dipping in and out of this thread - TODAY IS THE DAY!!

I already have the SW bumf that some kind person sent me a few weeks ago so will sit down tonight and make a menu plan for the week.

I weighed myself this morning at 10st 1lb which is about 1.5 stone over my ideal weight.

I would quite like today to be my first 'good' day though so if i tell you what i've eaten can someone tell me how well/badly it fits in? And what i have 'left' of allowances?

    Breakfast at 6am - special K
Breakfast at 9am - quaker oats
Lunch - houmous and salad in brown pitta bread + muller light yoghurt
Planned tea - falafal salad + apple and pear with natural yoghurt for dessert.

Hmm, even with my rudimentary knowledge i can see that i've had too many healthy extra Bs (2 x cereal + pitta). Maybe tea should be jacket potato and salad cos they are free on green days arent they?

I think this is going to be a long week! I know SW does work, ive lost a stone on it before. But its just a case of remembering how to make it work again.

I am going running for 4.5miles tonight too!

sounds like a great idea. when you know you have put the time and effort into somthing it makes it easier to stick to too. I am not good at half measures - it has to be all or nothing.

I've just had some fruit chopped up in a bowl with low fat natural yoghurt and it was lovely! Really surprised me how nice it was and so much so I could eat it for breakfast and save a HEB for tea or some toast for supper :) Yay!

Thats a great idea, i start work stupidly early and so generally have 2 breakfasts at 6am and then 9am - maybe i should start with cereal and then have fruit and yoghurt instead of more cereal.

SPECIAL K isn't a heb, so you need to count that at 6 syns per oz. (but you not had too many b's. lol)
houmous - was it shop bought?, if so its sinned.
no idea what falafal salad is?

but rest of it sounds fine.
i have fruit and yogurt for brekkie, its very filling as i have a huge bowl, and i find it more filling than 1oz cereal
