As a Consultant, I can give you the answer to this: when I questioned this on a training day, I was told that it's free to use, but "no taking the lid off and pouring it in" :D so there you go!

This is my second week this week and I only lost 1.5 lb last week although I think i really stuck to it, followed the green plan...

Im worried now that I was eating too much or doing something wrong..

I know they say rice, pasta and eggs are free but should i be not eating too much of them?

I got the asda veggie sausages tonight so hoping they are free or low syns like the quorn would be free as i heard asdas were nicer.

If these are the vegetarian Glamorgan sausages (6 pack, chilled) they are 3½ syns on both plans.

Don't worry about eating too much on the Food Optimising plan, you will find that eventually, you neither want nor need as much as you do now. Once your body (and brain) realise that there are no restrictions, these foods tend to be self-limiting.

The main thing to remember is that these plans were thoroughly thought out by an excellent nutritionist - trust them - follow the plan 100% and weight loss is guaranteed.

Hi consultant - It is the asda veggie lincolnshire ones and they arent on the site (i had forgotten to look) but when i just have i notice the others are 3.5 so i guess these will be too :( I wonder what normal sausages are and whether its worth it.

I've been out for a meal tonight and tried to be good so had a chicken dinner with fruit salad. Wasnt as nice but i feel SOO much better knowing i didnt cheat :D

    Also, sorry im back again.

I thought all quorn was free so bought the chicken burgers.. they are 2.5 each LOL I seem to be using my syn on 'normal' foods for a meal so must be doing something wrong as I have little left for a biscuit.

I've never heard of passata before but want to make the onion soup can anyone tell me where this normally is in the supermarket? much appreciated.
  • Hi

I found mine in Asda wih the tinned tomatoes, I think it was 34p for a big jar -that was the economy range, but until I know what it's like , I just bought the cheapest
You're only young once, but you can be immature forever :D
  • Passata is just strained cooked tomatoes - kinda like the stuff the italians put on the base of their pizza. It has no seeds in, no lumps or chunks - tis just plain old mushed up tomatoes!!
    Piggypoints - 207+£10 * Quidco - £95 * Tesco - 1095 * Sainsbugs - 4237
    :DI SHALL be debt free!!!!!:D
  • I'm getting very into passata. Makes my vegetable concoctions (that I'm getting quite good at!) even tastier!

I found my frilight ceasar salad spray in Tesco beside the salad dressings, not beside the oils, if that helps anyone. The taste is ok, but it definately needs more than 1 spray.

Just had 0% greek yoghurt with half a mango and banana in it, I love that stuff.. am going swimming with DD for an hour.
Planning on making the beef casserole from the magazine in the slowcooker later.

    Have a great day
