purplestar tell us all how you,ve done it and share tips or what you,ve eaten and enjoyed , weldone:j
Thanks! I've had about half and half green and red days through the week. Tonnes of fresh veg, lots of quorn sausages, lots of lychees. Cereal bars (healthy extras) as snacks (though I am now *sick* of them so need to find new HE snacks for this week!).
One thing I've been doing is always cooking slightly too much of free food, so I can reassure myself that I'm totally full, and never feel deprived. That there's always more!0 -

Just nipping in to answer a few queries, I am finding this thread so fast moving these days it is hard to keep up LOL. I think we established the Fry Light Salad sprays were also free, yippee. Still got to find some here though.
The SW quiche with pasta is just one of the many variations on the SW quiche recipe:
Ingredients;
1 chopped onion
3 eggs
8oz v.l.f. cottage cheese
seasoning to taste
+ around 12oz of your chosen ingredient
Method;
Mix the above with anything you fancy eg a whole packet of pasta 'n'sauce or ham or tuna or veggies etc, I use the lid of a casserole turned upside down (cos it doesn't have a handle on mine)
Cook for 30 mins or until golden brown at 190 deg c.
You can have hot or cold, Enjoy! It might need a bit longer if you add lots of veggies which are very watery.

Well done to all the big losers (hmm that doesn't sound like a complement somehow but it is meant to be) this week, some amazing losses. I am so eager for Monday to come round so I know where I am with mine.
Enjoying a lovely prawn curry and a glass of wine tonight, well it is Friday! Today has been a good food day.0 -

bowyers sausages (pork, 95% fat free) 1 syn on red, 4 syn on green, each sausage
Several years ago Bowyers sausages were free, then went to being syns and I wondered which they currently were.0 -
I'm going to give myself an:A for yesterday and another for today, because I'm really pleased with how well I've stuck to it in the face of having to shop for DH's choccy biscuit stash!
And a :j because I finally got around the going to the gym today (first time since Sunday - and I went to get a bit of peace!)
Today I had banana, VLF yogurt and 28g muesli for breakfast (think that's 5 syns); then I went to the gym for an hour, then I went to Tesco. I went to get some Mullerlights, but when I found them, they were right next to Tesco's own VLF version (same size pot), so I did a comparison and came home with the Tesco ones instead.
They're cheaper and lower in calories than Mullerlights, and they don't contain Aspartame. They have Acesulfame K and Sucralose (same as Splenda) instead, but I'm no scientist so I don't know if those sweeteners are better, worse or just as bad as aspartame. I'd rather have pure sugar, of course, but that's what got me into this mess!
I've looked them up in a Free Branded Foods book and they're free on both days so I'm having them instead of Mullers.
I had a Tesco pasta in sauce (tomato and onion), two slices of wholemeal and a couple of Laughing Cow triangles for lunch, followed by a yogurt.
For dinner, I made chicken curry based on a recipe I found earlier on this thread for Rogan Josh. I added mushrooms and sweet potatoes to bulk it out and stirred fromage frais into it, had it with brown rice. It was lovely
Not sure what colour to call today but I'm absolutely STUFFED!0
