and for your info, i reckon if you had a bottle and half from a 750 ml bottle, thats 40 and a half syns, if a white medium, only 36 if it was dry white wine!!! so if you could manage to be that good, add on your 20 syns, you still got about 10 left for the weekend, (working on having 70 per week) but even if you get to 80 or 90, i reckon its still a lot healthier than what you would have eaten before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to those who PM'd this weeks password, I've spent a good part of my day on there looking for recipes.

My Mum mentioned that one of her work colleagues is doing SW too and often has a quiche made out of a pasta base. She said it was a SW recipe but I can't find it. Does anyone know what I'm on about?

  • Anyone know what a pot noodle counts as on a green day. I am just about to tuck into a Batchelors Super Noodle To Go, and need to know whether to eat this, or save my syns for some wine tonight;)

never heard of a pasta one, but i do a mash one, squish mash down in a round baking tray, bake for about 15 mins, then top and cook again til hot. is quite nice.

the above is for a pizza base, sorry not a quiche

but i'll leave it for anyone who might be interested.

Chicken flavour, and yes, it is a low fat one. To make matters worse, DS has just phoned to see if we want to go for a meal tonight. Looks like I'll have to have pasta as I have just scoffed the super noodle. I think there is chicken carbonara on the menu, but it is covered in double cream :o
