  • Hang on in there you guys, keep your eye on the prize so to speak! It's never gonna be a straight forward journey otherwise none of us would have a problem in the first place. Accept that we're never likely to be perfect, just do the best that we can one day at a time.
Also, imagine the normal rubbish you'd have been eating and how much better even our naughtiest days are now. Scary huh?!

Just a quickie food idea too - par boil some gorgeous new potatoes, then roast in oil spray and sea salt till lightly browned. Yummmmmm.....

I made a load of them last night and had with beans & an egg. I have some left over today which im gonna have cold for lunch with triangle cheese.....:D

PS i earnt another one of these yesterday :j cos i parked my car 10 min walk away from the bank and power walked in and back :o

Hello, been reading thru the thread and decided I'm going to re-do Slimming World.

Couple of questions I want to make up a fresh fruit salad for packed lunch. Does anyone know of a syn free or low syn sort of juice to put it in. Been flicking thru my food directory and it mentions tesco packs of 3 juices (250ml) orange/lemon/pineapple being 1/2 syn a carton but it's a few years out of date.

Also does anyone know of any syn free or low syn sausages or beefburgers?

Hi when you make your fruit salad up add pinapple and oranges by lunch time it will have its own juice

1601 don't worry! I'm sure your hard work will show next week. It often does especially if you are 'hormonal' this week ;) HUGS to you anyway, but in your dispair would you mind sharing the caneloni receipe - sounds fantastic! See I am caring really! :rotfl:

I'm starving this morning but don't feel like eating anything as my chest still hurts but I'm back at work

BTW I LOVE quorn mince! I cook it exactly like the beef variety and its always been fine. I'm not so keen on it reheated though unless covered in sauce or with a strong flavour. We use the chicken style pieces and the chicken fillets a lot to make pretty much anything free on green! The cheese and broccoli fillets are great too!

Does anyone know the password this week? I had my 2yr old DD last night so didn't stay to class and didn't see what it was. I want to get some recipes together.

Thanks for that Sparkle - I haven't tried them but would fancy a 'beef' cury for a change. I will add them to my shopping list! :j

    For the sauce

    2 peppers
    1 onion
1 thingy passata (like a long life milk carton but smaller)
    garlic

    for the cannelloni

    cannelloni tubes
    tub fat free cottage cheese
    garlic
    bag spinach
    nutmeg

chop & dry fry the peppers and onions and garlic, till soft, add passata and warm through. Ta da a sauce!!!

For the cannelloni, wilt the spinach in boiling water, drain and pat dry, mix with cottage cheese, garlic & nutmeg, then fill the cannelloni tubes with the mixture

Put filled tubes in a baking dish, cover with sauce bake at 180 degrees for 45 mins.
