nessa, for a green day lunch have you tried egg quiche? make a pack of batchelors savoury rice up (cook it) then chuck it in a baking tin thing, mix in 3-4 whisked up eggs, mix well and bake for about 20-25 mins (200 degrees, no idea what that is in gas) eat warm, or leave to cool, is yummy, syn free and easy to transport if you got to take it to work. i sometimes throw in some frozen country veg mix and an extra egg. be warned though its very very filling.

other lunches i have on a green day are mug shot, noodle ones are syn free, easy to do just add hot water to one in a mug, pasta n sauce (batchelors free one again) cook it night before and have cold the next day (some people like this some don't)

Thanks evers so much, I like the sound of the egg quiche. Roll on next week

Gawd never thought I would say that about a working week :p

nessa, just had another thought, have you tried making syn free crisps, there an ideal addtion to a lunch box, i make some for some days.
slice a potato thinly and lay flat on glass tray in microwave ( or on a plate) and micro on high for about 8 mins till they go crispy, great with either a bit of salt on, or even some flavouring (i'm dull i like mine just salted) nice when everyone else is eating crisps around you.

One thing I did try at the weekend was a packet of Uncle Bens Mixed Veg Pilau in a bowl with a tin of Weightwathers County Vegetable soup over it.

Very, very nice but also very filling, I had to throw most of my dinner away that night cos I couldnt finish it as I was still full up.

I saw when I looked in my book that it said 4 and 2, but I'm only on week 2, and don't understand what that means. Do you still count it as one HEB ?
