It is awful when the men do really well - however, my OH has been doing it with me since the beginning of October and not lost a lb! Well he has, then put on etc etc but he won't give up his whiskey/wine/nuts! He doesn't seem bothered and although I've told him to stop coming if he wants to save £5 a week  I think he's happy to just support me. He's really good to me if I put on or maintain and ecstatic when I lose!

16011996 thank you for that again much thanks for the encouraging words.

It was my first time last week as I think you know and there was a guy there who had just finished his first week and he had lost 11lbs.

Now there is no way I have done anything like that and I have virtually lived on fruit and veg the whole week,

well apart from a 5 course dinner dance and loadsa wine on friday night (does that count :o )

Ho hum we will see soon enough anyway.

thanks again for all the support

I lost 7lbs in my first week - no idea how I did it and not likely to be able to do it again so don't hold that against us! :rotfl:

 i forgot to add this to the tip of the day , LAMANATE your food diary and put on your friage , so everytime you eat something you can fill it in , then at the end of the week wipe off and start again :T :T

    Peachyest and SkintCatt

    Thank you

I feel much more positive now. I gotta go and do some work now I suppose (don't you think bosses are the most unreasonable people?)

I will let you know how I get on tomorrow.

    Have a good evening everyone

  • thanks for the reply on the fruit - i had a lovely half a cantaloupe melon - i would have eaten the whole think but ran out of time :rotfl:

So now I am thinking about tea and what I can make for the family - its a red day today so am thinking of Quorn sausages - has anyone tried these are they nice? But what to have with them?
    Are vegetables super speed food?

Apologies for all the questions but am trying to figure it all out as DH keeps asking me about the diet and I dont think I am explaining it correctly!

ps those hartley sugar free jellies are delish - I have to hide them away from the kids - great for a packed lunch at work ;)
