The bulbs sound lovely. I have given up on getting anything much done in the garden given the 'help' from the puppy. In fact, I've given up trying to anything much done at all!
A craft/sewing room sounds like a good idea. I was going to have one of those but it ended up turning into a recording studio for work. However, it has provided me with much needed book storage (so it looks like a library) and will have space for sewing stuff as and when work go off the idea of me doing so much video work4 -

No more bulbs for me this year either, but I did find some elderly sweet peas so I may chuck those into a pot with the last bit of mixed compost. Nothing to lose after all.
Lots of tidying and putting away with a break to make Shepherds pie with lots of sprouts, broccoli and cauliflower for dinner. Lovely yellow fleshed kiwi - perfectly ripe. My current fruit obsession. Mushrooms and tomatoes with breakfast so a good mix for me today.
I've also made the mix for some chickpea based patties from a recipe on the SW app for a taster thing at group, in the fridge overnight before I bake them tomorrow. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Lots of progress today, I am clearly on a roll!
- Most importantly the plumber managed to kick start the boiler! Not a long term fix but warm - gloriously warm.
- Lots of progress on the house externals and they are people I am comfortable having in and around the house.
- I managed to sort the dividends from the business account and do most of the steps to be ready to wind the business up (companies house return, hmrc return, PAYE closure). Tomorrow I will check again that I have everything I need from the bank before I ask them to close the accounts.
- food testing evening at SW, came away with some nice ideas for savoury things I wouldn't have made but actually liked - and I was brave and asked for recipes.

The food tasting sounded fun as does a sewing .craft room.
Yeah to the boiler man's magicDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
