I love fennel luckily but didnt know about the dog farting aspects ..DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Spendy day yesterday with new arms length glasses ordered for me, and distance ones for DS. I need to get some cheap prescription sun glasses (got all the sizes etc from the optician) to help slow down an eye problem - any recommendations for online places? I hate sun glasses, don't want to spend lots until I know I will make myself wear them.Update from PB, looks like they have done nothing at all to date and are only now starting on due diligence because I complained. Need to go and post a hard copy certificate this morning.Happy things - due to have some progress on the outside works today. My bulbs are out for delivery. It isn't raining so I should be able to fill the second green waste bin.
I bought a kindle copy of Decluttering at the speed of life (recommended by @savingholmes on another diary) but haven't actually got round to reading it yet. Mind you many years ago I was bought a book on time management and procrastination, and have never got round to reading that either. Have put that in the sell pile actually.Hope everyone has an enjoyable Saturday. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Thanks @debtfreewannabe321 - lovely clear blue sky here now although it is very cold. Hope you have the same. My plan is shredding and weeding, and mixing some compost and grit ready for bulb planting.

My prescription sunglasses are from Iolla - not the cheapest of the online places at first look, but they include lens thinning in the price and I need so much of that simply to have the lenses fit in the frames it ended up cheapest for me. If you don’t have a milk bottle prescription it may be different.Debt at LBM (Dec 2018): £23,167
