About 40:years ago I had the elastic go in my knickers whilst stood in a queue in a sandwich shop. I was horrified and didn’t want to bend down to pick them up (short skirt of course !) so I placed my order and calmly stepped out of them and moved to the side no one noticed. Often wonder what the cleaner thought that night 🤣🤣🤣Sealed pot challenge 822

That made me laugh dawnybabes, I was more likely to have tucked my skirt into my knickers than anything.

You are absolutely smashing it.
Do keep us updated on if the new knickers are pleasing, I live in a constant state of dissatisfaction with all underwear5 -
@PennysIntoPounds, I can advise that the ridiculous amount of money I spent on new thongs (NOT flip flops!! 😂) - well it seemed ridiculous to me, have been worth every penny. I am gliding around in well fitting comfort … 😊❤️👏

I also live in a state of dis-satisfaction with all underwear unless Bridget Jones style v big knickers! Getting a well fitting bra is on the to do list as only wearing vest tops at present. @dawnybabes that was hilarious, I almost spat my morning tea laughing.
On a more serious note, @redofromstart you are incredible. Your strength and purpose and the way you are coping with grief is admirable, but also, you are a reminder to catch every day and make it mean something. Thank you for sharing, you are inspirational.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!5 -
The only time I've come close to loosing my knickers I was saved by having fleecy tights on over them! - Canadian winters can be unbearable & the more layers the better!
I've take to buying MnS cotton with the wide lace band - they breathe, stay up and fit perfectly until the lace wears out and then there is no doubt at all they need replacing! An automatic check built in to do 'out with the old and in with the new'. I always feel 'dressed' when the underthings are in good shape, even if I'm wearing comfy old house cloths or yoga gear!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! I've recently replaced a couple of bras - something I detest going shopping for, all that wandering around trying to find correct sizes, realising they don't do quite the same style as they did before, so having to take a handful in to try on, hot sweaty mess but hopefully bearing one or two that are 'ok' to the tills!
M$s had a fair range of post surgery ones that looked comfy. I bought 3, omg such comfort!! Im a larger size not because they stick out like madonna in her cones, more the boobs nowadays have to be rolled back up into a semblance of where they used to sit, but they had plenty big cup sizes, the body strap is a good 2inches wide, nice shoulder straps, nice soft elastic, no underwires which I always needed, and just so comfortable.
Slight issue was you get them vat free after surgery but I said to the 12 year old on the till, poor wee thing looked liked her first day at Saturday job lol, that I didn't need the vat free as I haven't had surgery. Oh the whole thing flummoxed her, called over another lady, she explained, I explained, older lady insisted I got them vat free, I explained again but was kinda forced into signing the receipt to get the vat off. I'm now awaiting imminent arrival of the boys in blue to fine me or arrest me.22: 3🏅 4⭐ 23: 5🏅 6 ⭐ 24 1🏅 2⭐ 25 🏅 🥈 Never save something for a special occasion. Every day is a special occasion. @daisy_1571 VAT is paid to the government by the business not the customer (although of course the customer pays for the VAT if its included in the charge by the business) so enjoy your comfy boobs worry-free, it was the business's decision to absorb the cost of VAT versus having to do extra admin, so you and your cleavage can breathe easy 😁8
