I have put on my to list bra fitting. I am not a big girl but i have worn a bra twice this week and both were not that comfortable. One rounded the ;parts up into a decent shape but the other i could not wait to get home and into my usual vest tops. I have found a local bra fitter who runs a business from home doing fittings so that is what I will try.. You have inspired that spendMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

As we are on the subject of bras - am I the only one that wishes we could have the engineeringly correct bras of my teens. The ones where the straps come from where the load is not from almost under your arms. It probably is only me. I need to wear extenders on the back as if I wear the "correct" size the relevant items are under my armpits, thankfully the M & S fitter agreed. I thought it was me getting the wrong size.6

I agree, I seem to have one slopy shoulder or im narrower on that side as I am constantly correcting that strap as it slips off ALL the time. I wish the straps were set closer in too22: 3🏅 4⭐ 23: 5🏅 6 ⭐ 24 1🏅 2⭐ 25 🏅 🥈⭐ Never save something for a special occasion. Every day is a special occasion. I now have to use a thing that looks like a double ended suspender that goes over the straps at the back and stops them from sliding off my shoulders. The joys of getting older but I wish I had found it a few years ago.6

I made a similar thing, wonderful to go all day without hoiking it up once 😀22: 3🏅 4⭐ 23: 5🏅 6 ⭐ 24 1🏅 2⭐ 25 🏅 🥈⭐ Never save something for a special occasion. Every day is a special occasion. Mostly as a reminder for me, but whole chicken in the Instant Pot.
We do now sometimes struggle with sensible eating in this house between my fads, and DS1 fads and of course The One Who Doesn't Eat. Something that worked well this week was a form of rubber chicken but without using the main oven.
Whole chicken, poached in the Instant Pot. Chicken into the pot, add 5 teaspoons of salt and a couple of bay leaves. Add cold water to the fill line or till it is mostly covered so it is poaching in the water. It is then a zero minute pressure cook (mine doesn't have a zero option so I set it to 1 minute) and then a natural release. There are charts for how long to wait if you want to eat it hot but I don't use it hot so I just leave it till I remember. The chicken should now be cooked through. The sieved poaching liquid was then used as simple stock for risotto, and to make some excellent chicken soup. The chicken itself is moist enough for cold eating, and went into the risotto with peas, couscous with broccoli, soup with mixed veg, and provided lots of scraps for my furry helpers.
DS1 was most disappointed that there was only one bowl of soup each yesterday so I would be confident about making more of it next time.
