Cherry, I did look at the volume of cheese and try to translate it to steps but the answer was clearly 'some, many, lots'. I generally ration myself anyway so a match box sized piece per day. DS1 on the other hand eats it in huge slices on lovingly buttered triangular oatcakes.
Much colder today so it seemed fitting to make leek soup. Two portions left for tomorrow.
Too cold and tired for the garden but I have been for two short walks despite my rather sore legs, even Doglet was complaining that she didn't want to go.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

lovely use of the champagne - I like the idea of people toasting me with a glass in memory
glad you had great weather too - lucky thereDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Why did I never think of an anti-histamine for my reaction to cheese. I've only ever used it for hayfever. You learn something new every day.8

@badmemory - My reaction is hives! stops the itch.
