Thank you all. A difficult day, started with tears because it is Mr Redos birthday but I have tried to keep myself busy. I have resisted the temptation to wallow in wine and chocolate.Doglet and I walked over and left some flowers on his grave and I was pleased to see the snowdrops look to be settling in nicely. Added bonus that this is c8k steps. The weather has indeed turned, very cold and sudden random patches of hailstones.
Cheese doesn't really agree with me either since I had all my stomach problems which helps the will power. For choice I'd happily have a cooks matches size portion too. That said I had a slice of garstang blue on my lunch sandwich, and a few cubes of black bomber with my sliced apple this afternoon. Both are very nice indeed with lots of taste in a tiny portion. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Sending a big hug and I told Mr PIP we were raising a glass to Mr Redo for his birthday, and to you, and you have both been drank to.
Glad the snowdrops are settling in well.
And glad you haven't wallowed in wine and chocolate, though I think a bit of both is allowed if you want them, especially after a great 8k step count.
The cheeses sound fabulous, might have to put the small amount of leftover stilton on our freezer pizza now. You're a good/bad influence 😁

Raising a mug of tea because it is to early in the day to raise a glass, but, sending love.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!5 -
Raising a mug of very fine coffee and popped you all and Mr Redo in my daily Buddhist prayersDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
