Wherever you are sounds completely fabulous. The bouncy happy dance sounds like the sort of thing that makes having a dog that steals polos and dribbles on the car upholstery worth the effort.

The last walk yesterday was lovely - we got a rainbow over the distant craggy view towards Coniston, and then coming back the sun setting beautifully over the estuary. Poor doglet was exhausted and snored in front of the fire happily. 15k steps which is very high for me.This morning we will walk off her fidgets on the marsh before heading north up the coast a little for another walk.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Another lovely day, 20k steps says my phone, and two walks on the marsh, and one on a beachside bit of the estuary. Lots of lovely birds to see and hear and happy dog for company although she is refusing to move now. So lucky with the weather with clear skies and even some sunshine, and great sunsets every night. We will get one last walk in on the marsh in the morning before the long drive home. It's been a great peaceful break for me, and it was my first ever holiday on my own so I have ticked that off. I coped better than I expected with the driving, including narrow lanes with passing places and narrow roads with sheer drops. Very little noise from home so I hope the cats are ok, first time PP has been left with the neglectful offspring so she may have been very lonely.SSG I discovered the joy of Bo0ths last time we came, and knew it was my preferred way to eat well while I was here. I think the nearest one from home is a good hour and a half away sadly. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

If you’ve out walked the dog you’ve done well! 😉
So very well done at this first independent trip away. I’m glad it went well and was what you needed. Hope you have a quiet, easy, journey home and get lots of fuss and cuddles from PP when you get back ❤️

I have never been to a Booths! #lifegoalsDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
