Sounds like you got a lot done. It shows the medication must be working as you wouldn’t have been able t do that much a while ago. Bet it feels good 👍

I think the landlord of the house next door must be wishing that either he or the managing agent had periodically checked the place. How much is he now spending out to fumigate and repair?  I bet it will need a new kitchen and bathroom before it can be rented out again.

He reckons about £5000 to sort it out but he owns his own building company so will get it all done himself. He's already found a tenant apparently 😀

We did. I did all the cutting in because that's not so strenuous. I'm now back down to 4mg of steroids and I'm not going back up again no matter what happens. The symptoms vary day to day and I'm good at powering through even when I'm in some pain. Yesterday was a good day so I hope it lasts  🤞🤞

  • Work was lovely today. I spent my day sorting and tidying the ward in between cuddling a baby if he got upset 😀 I even got home in record time ( under an hour ) I was full of energy when I got back so I ran round with the hoover.
Im back on painting duty tomorrow so will be busy all day again.

I saw the landlord from next door earlier and he said they have finally finished clearing all the rubbish out of the house. They are back tomorrow but I don't know if they are cleaning or starting to decorate because he's already got a tenant lined up so he will want to move her in pretty quickly. Apparently it's a lady who works as a taxi driver that he knows personally so hopefully she will be ok 🤞🤞

When I do my DMP budget I always calculate everything on the worst case scenario, and set it from there to keep the payments low and ensure I've got enough flex to cover everything.  Any savings I then make can be squirreled away.  I use NEDCAB for mine, and it gives a good idea of what is reasonable in different categories.  Once I get some decent savings behind me, I'll do a full and final offer to clear them.  You need to live, so do make sure you are not stretching yourself.

Thanks for the advice 😊I need to check out NEDCAB for just that reason. I can't really set a proper budget until I know how much my rent and council tax are going to be so I will have to factor in the likely increase in that
