Our ash trees has only shed a few twigs, they must be quite tough!

I hope you feel better soon. I don't know whether it's possible the effect of the steroids has made you feel every infection that come your way, that you'd normally just not notice? Feeling under par isn't nice and it's annoying when you had things to do. Still, a few quiet days now might get you bouncing back all the sooner.

It was definitely a good call to phone in sick for today I woke up feeling terrible this morning . I've taken B for a meander up the road and back. We didn't go far because I couldn't walk too far but she was actually quite perky for a change. 

I was going to go back to bed but there's too much noise coming from next door ( decorating) I might lay down on the settee instead. I've cancelled the guy coming to do my gutters tomorrow because I realised I would have to clear part of the patio for safety and I'm not up to doing that today . He is going to rebook me in the next couple of weeks

Another day not doing much at all 😟 I'm bored now 😀 I woke up this morning still feeling rough so I've been reading and lounging around all day. I did sit and re stuff and repair a favourite doorstop that B managed wee on. I washed the outside (hedgehog) and luckily the innards in  the bottom which look like cat litter were in a plastic bag so that was easy to clean . The head was filled with polyester stuffing which I managed to get for free from someone who was having a clear out at work. It's now back doing its job and will hopefully be safe now that B sleeps in the kitchen 😊

B is still not right and her back legs are weaker than before 😟I'm going to wait until the required days (60) for this drug to be out of her system before I do anything about it though. Sadly if she doesn't improve I think it might be the end of the road as I have to think of her quality of life. She is still eating but her appetite isn't as good as it normally is and her tail is tucked under which is not a good sign. It's such a hard decision to make though 😟

I was supposed to have my boiler serviced today and my gutters cleaned out but I had to cancel both because I'm not sure if I've got covid. The boiler has been rebooked for the 6th of Feb but the gutter man hasn't got back to me yet.

I phoned work this morning to say I won't be in tomorrow because I'm still feeling too ill. I will hopefully be ok by Monday for my next shift. Surely it can't last much longer 🤞🤞🤞I had so many plans for this week so it's annoying that I fell ill. Poor DD2 took the week off and I was going to help her paint but I haven't been able to do any of it. I am going to wash all my sofa covers tomorrow seeing as I can't go anywhere. I thought I might as well take advantage of being at home to get it done and it's a job that doesn't require any effort from me just loading the washing machine and that's it. I will recline in my armchair with my feet up while it's being done 😀

Poor B, it's so hard at this stage to make the right judgement especially when it's not clear how much is the injection. I know your presence with her will reassure her, even if she isn't herself right now.

It's definitely unpleasant 😟 B seemed a bit more perky this morning which was lovely to see
